We love this part of the world so much, and are keen for our guests to see as much of it as possible, so we have teamed up with local activity provider Surf Lines to run a series of wild swimming sessions exclusively for Menai Holiday Cottages' customers.
A series of six sessions will be run on Monday mornings on selected weeks throughout the summer. So whether you are staying for a week or a long weekend, you will have the opportunity to experience the exhilaration of open water swimming against the wonderful backdrop of North Wales.
Swim locations include the calm waters of Llyn (Lake) Padarn at the foot of Snowdon, Trearddur Bay on Anglesey's west coast and Newborough Beach close to the picturesque Llanddwyn Island.
Wetsuits will be provided and a safety boat will be out on the water with you, so if you have ever fancied giving wild swimming a go, now is your chance!
And better still, because we feel so strongly about getting people out into the great outdoors, we are offering the first ten places on each session free of charge on a first come first served basis. After that there is a small fee of £5.00 for each additional person.

Please arrive at meeting point by 10.45am to allow time for sorting out wetsuits etc.
Each session is an hour long - expect to be swimming for approx. 30-40 mins.
A basic level of fitness is required. The lake swims are a good starting point for less confident swimmers. Don't worry if you have haven't swum outside for a while or it's your first time, the staff are great at working with all levels of abilities and ensuring that you will have an excellent adventure.
