Did you know?
At low tide you can explore up to ten square miles of sand at Red Wharf Bay - an ideal spot for paddling, swimming, walking and birdwatching on Anglesey’s east coast. It’s a beautiful beach flanked on its eastern edge by the forests of Pentraeth - home to a sizeable red squirrel population and a prehistoric hillfort. It’s well worth an explore. There are a couple of good pubs on the shoreline of the bay where you can sip something cool or enjoy a good meal whilst soaking up the view. You can find out more about Anglesey here.
