After a busy summer season and challenging COVID times, members of our team enjoyed a fabulous day out at Adventure Parc Snowdonia.
We hoped on a bus down the North Wales coastline, and after a very scenic, yet rural detour we arrived at the location. After enjoying some breakfast and the September sun we headed inside for our first action of the day.
Our first adventure of the day was the Ninja Assault Course & Extreme Slides. After a quick safety briefing we headed in to what is described as “Like a giant adult soft indoor play area, designed by mad ninjas”. Equipped with aerial assault course, parkour floor trail, extreme slides and much more, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy. And as you can see, the extreme slides were great fun…
Cost: From £18,
Duration: 60 Minutes,
Clothing: Participants must wear long sleeved tops, trousers and trainers when taking part in this activity.
After we burned of the bacon sandwiches from the morning, the next challenge was a bit more daring. We headed up to the Zip Line & Freefalls.
We got our harnesses on and had another thorough safety briefing from the team. The team then headed up to the 12 metre adrenaline tower. On here we had to stand on a platform and essentially walk of the edge, easier said than done.
Once everyone had made their way down, some more reluctantly than others. We headed back up to the the zip ride over lagoon. The view from the zip line covered the entire parc with the backdrop of the Conwy valley, what a view! This was a little more light on the nerves for us!
Cost: From £25
Notes: Ages 10-17 require one participating adult per group
After a day of adventure we then retired to one of their teepees for some competitive table tennis, a barbecue and a few cold refreshments, we even managed to catch some surfing whilst we were there also.
If your looking for something fun for all the family to do, then we’d highly recommend a visit here. And if adventure isn’t your thing, they’ve also got a SPA on site. So you can leave the kids to it and relax!
Why not start planning your stay now and take a look at our fabulous collection of cottages in North Wales
