Eryri Snowdonia 360 is a 360-mile circular route which covers: Snowdonia, Anglesey, Llŷn Peninsula, and the North Wales Coast. The route features all the best attractions, places to eat, stay, and shop. It follows some spectacular roads in Conwy, Anglesey & Gwynedd, making it a popular route among motorists and cyclists. Eryri Snowdonia 360 is THE travel resource! Whether you’re a family with young children or you’re looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, Eryri Snowdonia 360 has something to offer everyone! Family Fun 

For a day out for the whole family, there are plenty of options to choose from! Anglesey Sea Zoo is one of our favourites, as it is a great place to learn about the fascinating world of marine life! Another great place for animal lovers is the Welsh Mountain Zoo. It has over 140 species housed in one of the most unique landscapes of any zoo in the UK.  If you prefer the seaside, Llandudno Pier is a great choice! (Wales’ longest pier), offers some stunning views and a plethora of fun activities and places to eat. Glasfryn Parc is a great choice for families. Here you’ll find activities for the whole family, including a 10-pin bowling alley, go-karting, and wakeboarding! For younger kids, Greenwood Family Park or The Fun Centre are sure to give your little one’s hours of fun!


Adventure activities

For those craving an adrenaline rush, the Eryri Snowdonia 360 has exactly what you’re looking for. Zipworld has everything from ziplines to forest rollercoasters and they even have an underground trampoline park! If watersports are more up your street, you can take a fun and exhilarating trip with spectacular views along the Menai Strait with RibRide. Fancy trying out surfing? Why not get your surf on at Adventure Parc Snowdonia? For a truly unique adventure, head underground to discover the fascinating hidden worlds of Sygun Copper Mine and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. 


Heritage and Culture 

Free Entry to National Slate Museum

There is a lot to see and learn about in an area with such a rich heritage and culture. If you have an interest in learning about the Welsh language, the place to go is Nant Gwrtheyrn. It is a former quarry village within a stunning valley. Want to learn about the history and importance of the slate industry in Wales? There is no better place than the National Slate Museum in Llanberis. To learn more about Welsh slate and how it’s made, a trip to Inigo Jones Slateworks is a must-visit! (they offer fascinating workshop tours.) 

If you’re travelling along the North Wales Coast why not start your journey at Bodnant Welsh Food for the best Welsh produce in North Wales, followed by a trip up the iconic Great Orme Tramway for breath-taking views of the Carneddau Mountains and coast. Heading West, follow the coastline to Aber Falls Distillery for a unique Gin and Whiskey experience, and finish your day with a Welsh brew at Storiel whilst enjoying the best of Welsh local artists. Lastly, don’t forget to include the enchanting Italianesque village of Portmeirion to your trip when visiting Snowdonia, enjoy the architectural heritage, it’s stunning setting, and sub-tropical gardens.


Heritage Steam Railways

The Eryri Snowdonia 360 consists of 5 fascinating heritage railways with rich histories and amazing scenery. These include the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway, the Snowdon Mountain Railway, the Talyllyn Railway, the Bala Lake Railway, and the Llanberis Lake Railway. 

Besides all these heritage railways, Snowdonia 360 offers one of the most picturesque railway lines in the world; the Cambrian Coast Railway Line. This line runs between Pwllheli and Aberystwyth with a change at Machynlleth, following the coast and passing by some incredible views, and even castles along the way.

Discovering Snowdonia – How to plan your journey

Planning your journey using the Eryri Snowdonia 360 interactive map couldn’t be easier. The Snowdonia 360 website is fantastic because you can create your own personalised itinerary! If you’re stuck and need some inspiration, you can choose from one of Eryri Snowdonia 360’s recommended itineraries.  

On the interactive map, you can filter out results to find exactly what you’re looking for. For example, you can tick the “accommodation” and the “dog-friendly” boxes to display all the places you and your furry friend can spend the night along the route. To add a place to your itinerary, simply click “add to trip”. Once you’ve selected each place you plan to visit, the map will show the entire route and the time it will take to travel. All of the Itineraries have been carefully curated by the Eryri Snowdonia 360 family. Making planning a trip to North Wales and Snowdonia National Park super easy!  One of our favourites is the eat-all-you-can tour along the Eryri Snowdonia 360 Food Trail.
