The island of Anglesey is a fantastic destination for a holiday or short break. And if you are a dog owner, you\u2019ll want to be sure there are plenty of places to visit and go where you can take your four-legged friend.<\/p>\n

Plenty of the team here at Menai Holidays are also dog owners. We know that after a good walk or when you’ve been exploring one of these dog-friendly beaches in Anglesey<\/a>, there\u2019s nothing better than coffee and cake or lunch out.<\/p>\n

Not all cafes will accept dogs so to make life easy for you, we\u2019ve pulled together a useful list of dog-friendly cafes on Anglesey.<\/p>\n

Go on give your favourite four-legged friend the smile it deserves.<\/p>\n

1. Caffi Siop Mechell – Cemaes Bay<\/a><\/h2>\n

A community cafe, run by volunteers. The food gets rave reviews – simple, delicious and affordable. And there\u2019s even a little garden at the back of the cafe, perfect for sunny days. Open 9.30am – 3pm Monday to Friday but closed on weekends; there are vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available.<\/p>\n

2. Pilot House Cafe – Penmon<\/a><\/h2>\n

Perched at the head of Penmon Point<\/a> on the south-east corner of Anglesey is this lovely cafe in a stunning location. Ideal for a break after a walk along the Anglesey Coastal path<\/a> or a potter around the rocky coastline and rock pools exposed at low tide.<\/p>\n

This friendly cafe is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week, serving a variety of tasty, home-cooked food. And there\u2019s seating both inside and out. Note: there is a toll to pay if you want to drive your car to the point itself where the cafe, lighthouse and beach are; it does also include access to the historic buildings just before the point.<\/p>\n

\"Mojo's<\/p>\n

3. Mojo’s Cafe – Rhosneigr<\/a><\/h2>\n

Located on the high street, is Anglesey’s only French owned restaurant.\u00a0Serving a smorgasbord of sweet and savoury crepes, croques and galettes, it is fully licensed, there\u2019s a good evening menu too. Opening hours are seasonal so do check before you set out.<\/p>\n

4. Llys Llewelyn Tea Rooms – Aberffraw<\/a><\/h2>\n

Located in the heart of Aberffraw and ideally situated for a pit stop after a walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path<\/a> or down the river towards Aberffraw beach<\/a>. It serves breakfasts and lovely lunches and great homemade cakes. A social enterprise, Llys Llewelyn Tea Rooms are popular with the local community as well. There\u2019s seating inside and outside making it an easy place to bring your dog along too.<\/p>\n

5. Lligwy Beach Cafe – Moelfre<\/a><\/h2>\n

This cafe is perfectly placed for a stop off after a walk along Lligwy Beach<\/a> or the Anglesey Coastal Path<\/a>. It serves coffee, teas, hot chocolate, ice cream and lollies along with a whole host of lovely home-cooked food. Dogs are welcome, with seating mainly outside (there\u2019s a big basket of blankets for chilly days!), this is a firm favourite with several of the Menai team.<\/p>\n
