Bonfire Night is almost here (where has this year gone?). So it’s time to get the sparklers ready, cwtch up with loved ones and head to an organised Bonfire Night.<\/p>\n

Bonfire Night North Wales 2024<\/h2>\n

\"People<\/p>\n

The lead-up to Christmas is a wonderful time of year. October has all the fun and delight that Halloween brings (how can you not smile walking around a pumpkin patch?!). Whilst November is the start of all things festive. With Christmas markets lining the streets, gourmet street food and the aroma of mulled wine.<\/p>\n

But let’s not forget about the wonders of Bonfire Night, with a magical display of fireworks lighting up the night sky and bonfires glowing across North Wales<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

On the 5th of November 1605, Guy Fawkes was arrested guarding explosives beneath the House of Lords in an attempt to kill King James I. Across the capital, bonfires were lit in celebration of the King’s survival.<\/p>\n

The tradition has long remained and below are details of some of the upcoming firework displays in North Wales where you can soak up the atmosphere.<\/p>\n

With events spread out over the whole weekend, you could even attend more than one display…<\/p>\n

\n

Beaumaris Fireworks 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Where?<\/strong> Beaumaris Pier, Beaumaris<\/a> LL58 8BS<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong> Saturday 8th November<\/p>\n

This display is incredibly popular and with good reason. Music, a bonfire & fireworks…this event has it all. The bonfire is lit from 7pm and the fireworks follow at 7:30pm.<\/p>\n

The entertainment will continue on the green after the display so why not make a night of it? The money raised from entry fees (\u00a35 per person with children under 12 going free) goes towards the next event. The fireworks are set off from the pier and it\u2019s definitely worth heading along if you\u2019re in the area.<\/p>\n

Insider\u2019s tip: Get there early if you can because parking can be difficult when this event is on. You could always have some supper in one of the restaurants or pubs whilst you wait.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

Criccieth Fireworks 2025<\/h2>\n

Where?<\/strong> The Esplanade, Criccieth Beach, Criccieth<\/a> LL52 0HU<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong> Friday 7th November, 5pm<\/p>\n

Dylan\u2019s<\/a> Fireworks Night in Criccieth is set to be a fantastic community event with something for everyone. The evening starts with food and drinks from Dylan’s food trailers, including hot snacks, cakes, and drinks from their bar. Live music will keep the atmosphere buzzing, and there are children\u2019s activities to keep the little ones entertained before the fireworks begin.<\/p>\n

The stunning fireworks display over Criccieth Bay is the highlight of the night, offering breathtaking views for everyone along the beach. Entry is free, but donations are welcomed to help ensure this much-loved event can continue in future years.<\/p>\n

Insider\u2019s tip: Wrap up warm and arrive early to grab a good spot on the esplanade. You could also stop by one of Criccieth\u2019s caf\u00e9s or restaurants for a bite to eat before the festivities begin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Llandudno Firework Display 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Where?<\/strong> Llandudno Pier, North Shore Promenade, Llandudno<\/a>, Conwy<\/a>, LL30 2LG<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong> Sunday 3rd November at 6.30 pm.<\/p>\n

The iconic Pier on the North Shore<\/strong> is the setting for this stunning display of pyrotechnics. It\u2019s one of our favourite displays in the whole of North Wales!<\/p>\n

The display is free to watch (donations are welcome). The backdrop of Llandudno North Shore is just delightful and well worth the trip.<\/p>\n

The Victoria Centre Car Park will remain open until 7.30 pm, with disabled parking available.<\/p>\n

If the weather is adverse, the display will be rescheduled for Saturday, 8th November at 6.30pm.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wrexham Bonfire & Fireworks Display 2025<\/h2>\n

Where?<\/strong> Alderford Lake, Whitchurch, Shropshire, SY13 3JQ<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong> Saturday 1st November, gates open at 5pm<\/p>\n

Wrexham Bonfire & Fireworks Display<\/a> is back and promises to be a fantastic night of fun for the whole family. With fairground rides, plenty of hot food, drinks, and sweet treats, there\u2019s something for everyone to enjoy. The bonfire will be lit, followed by a firework display at 7 pm, which offers sund sensitive fireworks for a calmer experience, and another main firework show at 8 pm with music.<\/p>\n

Insider\u2019s tip: Get there early to enjoy the fairground rides before the bonfire is lit. Make sure to bring cash, as no card payments are accepted. With free parking and lots of food options, it\u2019s a perfect evening for families looking to enjoy a classic bonfire night!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Colwyn Bay Bonfire and Fireworks 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When?<\/strong> Monday 4th November 2024 at 7pm<\/p>\n

The Colwyn Bay Bonfire and Fireworks Display is a must-see event on the North Wales coast. Organised by the Bay of Colwyn Town Council, the evening promises to be filled with dazzling displays over the promenade, with the fireworks lighting up the skies above the sea.<\/p>\n

This family-friendly event is free to attend, though donations are welcomed to help keep the tradition going in the years to come. Please note, for everyone\u2019s safety, sparklers are not allowed on site.<\/p>\n

Insider\u2019s tip: For the best views, head to the promenade early and take a stroll along the beach beforehand. With no entry fee, it\u2019s a great way to enjoy a budget-friendly night out by the sea.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Caernarfon Fireworks Night 2025<\/h2>\n

Where?<\/strong> Caernarfon Waterfront, Caernarfon, LL55 1RN<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong> Wednesday 5th November, 6:30pm<\/p>\n

Hosted on the town’s promenade next to the medieval town walls, Caernarfon’s Fireworks Night will actually be hosted on Bonfire Night itself and will make for a fantastic place to go for a celebration!<\/p>\n

With the event kicking off at 6:30pm, be sure to get here early if you can, as food vans will be on the site an hour earlier, giving visitors the chance to grab a bite to eat before enjoying the display.<\/p>\n

Insider’s tip: The Castle Car Park tends to be one of the busiest in the town, so if you’re happy to add a couple minutes’ onto your walk to the event, we’d recommend heading up to Glan M\u00f4r Uchaf Car Park or Greengate Car Park, both of which are free for 2 hours<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hawarden Bonfire Night 2025<\/h2>\n

Where?<\/strong> Hawarden Estate, Hawarden, CH5 3FB<\/p>\n

When?<\/strong> Saturday 1st November, 5pm \u2013 9.30pm<\/p>\n

Hawarden Estate\u2019s Bonfire Night is set to be a spectacular evening without the fireworks! Enjoy the magic of the event with a stunning illumination of Hawarden Old Castle, a lively roaming brass band, and delicious food cooked over open flames. This dog-friendly event is perfect for families looking for a relaxed evening with no loud bangs.<\/p>\n

Tickets are \u00a312.50 for adults and \u00a36 for children, with under 5’s going free. Parking is \u00a38 per car, but spaces are limited, so it\u2019s best to book early. Alternatively, there\u2019s plenty of parking available in the village.<\/p>\n

Insider\u2019s tip: Make sure to book parking in advance as it fills up quickly, or plan ahead for a stroll from the village. With the unique castle illumination and warm food from the fire, it\u2019s an evening not to be missed!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

With music playing, the atmosphere at Barmouth Community Bonfire and Fireworks<\/a> will be full of energy in time for the Bonfire to be lit at 6pm. You’ll then be treated to a magical free fireworks display as the sky is filled with an impressive show from approximately 7pm.<\/p>\n
