Cemaes Bay Holiday Cottages

Cemaes Bay: home to sandy beaches and rocky headlands

Cemaes Bay, Anglesey, North Wales

Cemaes Bay is the most northerly village in Wales and sits on the rugged north coast of Anglesey. Visitors to Cemaes Bay holiday cottages can enjoy the fishing harbour, sandy beaches and rocky headlands which are all on the doorstep. In the 5th century St Patrick (then a mere bishop) was shipwrecked just off the coast here. He made it ashore at Cemaes Bay and established what is probably the oldest Christian site in Wales, Llanbadrig church. It’s open to visitors in the summer months.
