The property

On the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, in the quaint seaside town of Amlwch, is this cosy cottage, 13 Quay Street.

Boasting views of the harbour and high-quality furnishings throughout, this is an excellent home base for a family looking to escape to Anglesey for a short while.

Enter through the front door and find the first of the ground-floor bedrooms, which includes two doubles with contemporary en-suite shower rooms and wardrobe space in each.

The master super-king-size bedroom is upstairs, together with a second en-suite shower room and a delightful twin room that's perfect for kids.

Proceed into the eye-catching open-plan living space, where you'll be attracted in by the views of the harbour and the sea.

In the kitchen, which has everything you could need for home-cooking, including a double oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, and even a dishwasher, you can enjoy some home cooking.

Before lighting the woodburner and unwinding on the corner sofa, serve up a tasty meal at the dining table.

Open the Juliet doors to let in fresh air and a view of the coast during the warmer months.

The Anglesey Coastal Path offers gorgeous views and opens up miles of cliff-top treks and undiscovered coves and beaches, including the secluded bay at Traeth Dynion.

From the door, you can find numerous walks and cycle tracks that take you through lovely scenery.

After you get back, stop by Finney's Port Chippy for some fish and chips or the Adelphi Vaults for a cold beer.

Visit the Copper Kingdom Museum to learn about Amlwch's past and its copper mining heritage or stop at the Old Mine Works near Mynydd Parys to witness the red, yellow, and purple rocks that some have compared to the Moon's surface.

Golf enthusiasts can play at the Bull Bay Golf Club, and there are numerous fishing spots nearby for the anglers.
