    “Lovely cottage In a quite area with plenty of beautiful views .”

    And would go again . Only issue I found was the mattresses on the single bed were not very comfortable for a adult . Ante the chair in the lounge was not comfortable for sitting on for a long time

Hazel Bank Cottage is a welcoming, detached property found in Penrhyd, just outside the lively market town of Amlwch.

Tucked away in this scenic corner of Anglesey, this splendid retreat welcomes families and friends looking to explore this wonderful part of North Wales, with an abundance of coastline and countryside to enjoy.

After a day on the beach, rinse off the sand with a quick shower in the bathroom, before venturing to the kitchen to rustle up a tasty feast, utilising the electric oven, gas hob and microwave, or if you’d rather not cook, order in a local takeaway.

After satisfying your hunger, move into the sitting room, complete with plush seating and a TV for catching up on your favourite shows, or while away the hours in the conservatory, getting lost in a good read or simply reflecting upon the holiday thus far.

Step outside and enjoy a moment with the garden, resting in a slight elevation to provide idyllic views of the surrounding countryside and even the sea on some days!

The bedrooms include two doubles, one with an en-suite shower, along with a pretty twin room, also benefitting from an en-suite shower, so you won’t have to worry about morning queues!

Head into the town of Amlwch to find a wealth of eateries, plus a handful of independent shops and a convenience store for grabbing any essentials; go on the hunt for a souvenir to take back home, before refuelling at a local restaurant or café.

Within minutes walk from Hazel Bank Cottage discover Lastra Farm Restraunt, enjoy a meal and unwind in the Market Tavern which is a short walk from the property.

Meander along the coastal path all the way to Point Lynas Lightouse and discover the workings of the industrial heritage, or stop by at the local railway museums for any train enthusiasts.

There’s plenty of golfing opportunities in the area, with the Bull Bay golf club situated nearby, or head to Traeth Porth Wren Beach for a day on the sand.

Why not plan a day out to the Pili Palas Nature World, a small, hands-on zoo which is sure to be loved by the kids!
