“Nice, cosy and well equipped apartment.”

We appreciated the information you (in the name of the owner - thank you) provided about difficulties to arrive due to the snowfall. Finally we got the information that the snow melted and we could arrive. It was rather difficult to park our car due to its length. Information about this should be part of the listing. The washing machine was great but the drying rack was missing. But some important things were missing: Hairdryer, dishwashing liquid and a broom to clean up the ground floor of the apartment. Nevertheless we felt like home in the apartment within the wonderful welsh landscape.

“Modern and well equipped cottage in a convenient location for exploring Snowdonia National Park and Holyhead island.”

I stayed for five nights and found lots to do nearby, if you go anywhere during your stay go to Dinorwic quarry! Hands down the most interesting hike I've gone on, feels like an alien landscape up there and there's so much history to discover about the slate quarries around North Wales. Parys Mountain is also worth a visit for the Mars like colours of the copper mines, and Penrhyn Castle is one of the better National Trust properties I've been to. For touristy things Betws y Coewd is nearby and has lots of nice shops/cafes as well as forest walks and a waterfall. Just make sure you have 30p in coins to use the public toilets! Cafes won't let you use theirs. The WiFi worked well in the cottage and the heating was really nice to come home to after being soaked in the rain, Netflix was also appreciated. Comfy bed and powerful shower! If I have to nitpick there wasn't any soap in the bottle upstairs and lots of dog hair was in the dustpan and brush. Other than that was happy with everything in the cottage and would stay again. Word of warning, the turning into the cottage is very very narrow, so if you've got a big car it might not be wise to attempt to park at the cottage (apparently you can park on the road outside if you can get a space). And the key safe is stiff, I couldn't use it personally so had to get a neighbour to open it for me.

“Our stay in the apartment was just perfect!”

the location is super nice for hiking, you can start your daytrip just from your doorstep, amazing! The bed was super comfortable, tv was awesome and relaxing in the evening, the couch could be a little bit bigger for two people, but other than that it was a lovely time that we spent there. I would definitely come back again!

Not an issue, but I would point out that the roads in the village are quite narrow, so would not be good if you drive a larger vehicle. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

“Very easy to find with satnav and in a beautiful location ideal for days out on the coast, Anglesey and Snowdonia.”

We were welcomed with a hamper of essentials and goodies (we are vegan and gluten intolerant but it was a nice touch) and the cottage was absolutely spotless. I would recommend this to a single traveller who wants to treat themselves or for a couple looking for a cozy retreat. Two things that seemed to be missing were a chopping board and something to dry clothing on. The king size bed would be too soft for me for any longer than a few days but that's my personal requirement. Otherwise, I really can't fault this property at all. The view from the very short walk behind the cottage is absolutely stunning and on the second night we were treated to an amazing sunset from above the clouds which really set the tone for our stay here. Two very satisfied customers.
