The property

Lluest is a stunning, Grade II listed, four-storey townhouse with fabulous views out across the Menai Strait.

Lluest is one of the iconic houses of Beaumaris due to its striking pink colour; a picture of Beaumaris isn’t complete without this row of houses captured on it.

Known as “the pink house”, made famous by the bright pink it was painted by its previous owners and also boasting fantastic views of Eryri (Snowdonia) and the Menai Strait, as far as Menai Bridge.

Internally, the property comes fully-renovated with laminate floors, high ceilings and large bay windows which give the rooms an abundance of natural light.

Leave your muddy boots in the hallway and step into the spacious sitting room which has two large sofas and a wall-mounted TV so you can unwind with your favourite shows on those quieter evenings.

To the rear is a large dining room with seating for ten guests, making the perfect sociable space.

Choose from a selection of appliances provided in the modern kitchen to rustle up some delicious meals for the whole family.

The kitchen also has added benefits such as a washing machine so you don’t have to bring your whole wardrobe, and leave the dishwasher to clean up the mess from dinner.

There are five bedrooms set across three floors and are set up as three king-sizes, an adult bunk and twin, suitable for friends or families.

The second floor has its own family bathroom with a double-ended, egg-shaped bath and a walk-in shower with rainfall head and hand-held shower, as well as a TV, so you can choose how best to prepare for your day.

The first floor also has a further sitting room with a woodburning stove and plenty of seating, perfect for the adults whilst the children enjoy the ground-floor sitting room.

To the rear is an enclosed slate courtyard area with an external cloakroom and a shed for bike storage.

The town of Beaumaris is an excellent base for accessing many of the delights Anglesey has to offer, such as its selection of pubs and restaurants if you don't fancy cooking one evening.

Explore the Beaumaris Pier for stunning views across the coast, or spend an afternoon on the golden sands.

If you're keen on watersports, the Seacoast Safaris offers boat trips, whilst the Menai Strait is an excellent choice for fishing.

A short drive away brings you towards Baron Hill Golf Club which has courses suitable for beginners and professionals alike.

For a spot of history, venture towards Beaumaris Castle or the National Trust property Penrhyn Castle.

You can even take a drive further towards the beautiful Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, ideal for keen explorers.

Lluest is the perfect choice for a family break to the Isle of Anglesey.

About the location

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).
