  • “The lovely accommodation was seriously let down by poor preparation - general waste rubbish bin overflowing from previous guests, no washing up utensils ( absence of cloths, scourers, wipes etc ), filthy dishwasher ( had to clean filter and remove food residue ), one dishwasher tablet only ( left in machine ), no individual hand towels for each person ( only 3 for 6 guests ), no bin bags.”

Tea and coffee facilities provided but no milk. Contacted house keeper who advised that things had been a little chaotic for 'the girls' and that we had seemed to bear 'the brunt'. Milk had been omitted from the 'welcome pack' in error. Arranged for bins to be emptied ( Monday ) and called around late Saturday leaving dish cloths, scourers and tablets on the post box. Called again on Monday to provide extra towels together with 3 bin bags. ...

The holiday was booked as a 4 tick property and whilst the accommodation was up to expectations, the preparation sadly failed to meet previous Menai ( and Sykes ) property preparation standards thus putting the holiday on a disappointing start. It was both annoying and frustrating to have to get in touch for such basic provisions. We look forward to your comments / responses.
