“We had a lovely stay at Old Mission Hall.”

The property was clean and had everything and more we could have asked for. The welcome gifts were a very nice touch and meant that even though we arrived quite late, we weren't under pressure to rush out for food. Great location for exploring and when the weather was too grim outside, there was plenty to keep us entertained in the house. We would definitely recommend.

The property

The Old Mission Hall is a fab holiday cottage that has been sympathetically split into three separate dwellings, with number two at the centre.

Fully renovated interiors make for a bright and spacious holiday base from which to explore everything the island of Anglesey has to offer!

It is just a short walk to the sea and straight onto the Anglesey Coastal Path!

"This is a real hidden gem of a holiday cottage!

A fantastic family house just a hop and a skip from the seaside!" There are some fantastic places to visit right on your doorstep such as the picturesque sandy beach at Cemaes Bay, the impressive Porth Wen Brickworks, the Copper Kingdom and various galleries at Amlwch Port and the Cemlyn Nature Reserve.

There really is something for everyone!

And if a round of golf is your thing, there is even the Bull Bay Golf Club, who welcome guests to their 18 hole course.

About the location

BULL BAY

Amlwch 1.5 miles.

Bull Bay, or Porth Llechog in Welsh, which means "sheltered bay", is a picturesque seaside village on the northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey. It is the most northerly village in Wales, and boasts wonderful coastal scenery, with the island of East Mouse lying within the bay, which is rocky, shingly and offers rockpools for shrimping and crabbing. The village has a hotel with restaurant and bar, an excellent golf course, wonderful scenic walks along the renowned Anglesey Coastal Path and exciting fishing and bird watching. 1.5 miles east is the old port of Amlwch, and Parys Mountain, where visitors can enjoy the Copper Mine Trail Walk amidst the old ruins of what was once the world's largest copper mine in the 18th century. Amlwch's harbour dates back to the Middle Ages, and once was a thriving port. Enjoy the medieval town of Beaumaris, with its 13th century moated castle, museums, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants, a sea zoo, Plas Newydd mansion, or take a day trip into Snowdonia, or visit Dublin from the nearby port of Holyhead.
