A short drive will take you to Newborough Forest, home to the red squirrel and the raven.Beyond the forest you have the sand dunes, with rare flora and an abundance of birdlife.Newborough Beach is long and sandy and romantic Llanddwyn Island is just beyond.Or maybe if you want to venture a little further afield a trip to the lovely village of Beaumaris with its castle, pier and lovely sea front, and the wonderful Red Boat ice-cream shop!
