  • “The location of the cottage is lovely and very peaceful.”

It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The short walk to the beach is a real bonus, particularly for those with dogs, and the views across to the mainland are stunning. The walk back up to the cottage is quite steep in parts which is worth bearing in mind if anyone in the party has mobility issues. However, there are two car parks nearby where you can access the beach directly if need be.

The property

Silva is a delightful little holiday cottage in the village of Penmon, near to beautiful sandy beaches and the Anglesey Coastal Path. This lovely, simple house has been a much-loved family retreat for some time.We are delighted that the owners have decided to share their secret with us. Downstairs is open plan and flows through from the compact, open-shelved kitchen to the little dining area by the front window.Light and airy, it is home to plenty of personal eclectic things, some in a shabby-chic style, to catch your interest.

Upstairs, all three bedrooms are light and comfortably furnished and the bathroom simple and modern. There’s also a handy downstairs shower room just off the kitchen.

Whether you enjoy sitting in the modest sunny back garden or curling up in front of the traditional cast iron log fire, you will love both this uncomplicated holiday cottage and its location on the south-east corner of Anglesey.Close to the seaside town of Beaumaris and to iconic Penmon Point, this is a beautiful, peaceful area to spend time in.
