The kitchen was well resourced with dishes and a there was plenty of room for 6 of us. Easily reached from the A55 and close to the beach which we visited a few times. Guests are asked not to change the heating settings but it was too hot an a couple of evenings/mornings and too cool on another. Having control of the settings makes sense at times especiallywhenthe weather is changeable. We had two big problems during our stay with the door latch and the bottom oven. When pushed completely shut, it is very difficult to open. The door latch doesn't fully engage so is catching the frame. It has nothing to do with the deadlock. Two elderly members of our party couldn't open the door latch and they were concerned about being stuck in the cottage if we weren't there. As the back gate was swollen shut they had no way of getting out if home alone. We aren't the first guests to mention the lock so it is obviously an issue that isn't being dealt with. It was mentioned to the owner who said he'd try to get his handyman around but no one appeared whilst we were there. Also the bottom oven turns itself off if the time isn't set. Even when the time is set, it sometimes turns itself off randomly. We read the manual and overrode the auto setting but by the end of the week it was clicking itself off quite frequently. This was a pain as one of us had to stand guard by the cooker just in case. Two issues which could be easily dealt with. Apart from that we had a lovely stay.
