“A really lovely cottage in a fantastic location We found this cottage to be clean, comfortable, well-appointed and in a wonderfully secluded location with beautiful views.”

Particular positives are the large panoramic windows, the enclosed garden for the dog, the patio seating area, a good shower, the log burner and close access to the local beach areas. The location in respect of exploring Anglesey is also great, being between the Holy Island and Anglesey mainland. We visited many pretty beaches the full length of the west coast and it was only just over half an hour’s drive to Beaumaris on the opposite side. We didn't want to leave!

The property

This sweet holiday cottage, on the west coast on the island of Anglesey, has been lovingly restored.

It has been tastefully decorated with the perfect balance of contemporary and cosy, ensuring that you will be comfortable there whatever the weather.

As if this wasn't enough, the holiday cottage is set in the most magical of coastal locations! "Location, location, location!" And a gorgeous cottage to boot!

You will want to pinch yourself it is that gorgeous!" Right on the coast of the Cymyran Strait, you are greeted with breathtaking views across the water to Holy Island.

The holiday cottage boasts direct access down to the water's edge, and when the tide is out you have stretches of sandy coves to explore.

The Coastal footpath passes by the house and I am sure that it is a bird watchers dream!

Whilst the cottage does not sit alone, it feels like a secret escape!

Just wait and see! Despite its seclusion, you are only 10 minutes to the nearest village of Valley, with convenience stores, a fantastic Butchers and Deli, as well as a selection of pubs and restaurants.

Why not try Catch 22 Brasserie for a spot of tapas and a cocktail? Popular seaside spots of Rhoscolyn and Trearddur Bay are both a short drive away, as is Holyhead for Supermarkets.

Further exploration can be done without hassle with easy access onto the A55. If you need more space for your group, or would like to return with the rest of your family, why not look at the neighbouring houses Glanrhyd Isaf or Glanrhyd Uchaf.

About the location

LLANFAIR YN NEUBWLL

Valley 2 miles; Trearddur Bay 5 miles; Rhoscolyn 5 miles; Holyhead 6 miles.

Llanfair-yn-Neubwll is a small village on the Isle of Anglesey. Just a couple of miles away is the popular village of Valley, which boasts a variety of shops and restaurants, two hotels and a café. It is also home to an RAF base and offers a small number of commercial flights. Llanfair-yn-Neubwll is only five miles from the renowned beach resorts of Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn. Here you will find a beautiful sweep of grassy coastline with rocky coves and award-winning sandy beaches, as well as a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other nearby attractions include the South Stack Lighthouse with its RSPB Reserve, the port of Holyhead, with its regular ferry links with Dublin in Ireland, and easy access to the coast road around Anglesey with delightful beaches to visit and a host of other attractions to please the most discerning of visitors.

Note: Bwthyn Glanrhyd is situation on the inland sea between mainland Anglesey and Holy Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is reletively secluded and quiet however we should point out that the lane from the highway is also a public footpath, so we request that you take care when driving. From time to time, dependant on the moon and prevailing winds, the high tide may cover the drive between the house and the caravan park. This is not usually for much longer than an hour or two at the most so it should not be too disruptive. It is useful to remember that high tide is generally 45 minutes later than high tide the previous 24hours. If you do find the tide is over the road we suggest that you leave your vehicle at the caravan park and continue your journey on foot. Do Not attempt to drive through the sea water. A useful website we use is www.willyweather.co.uk and you can search for Cymyran to obtain weather and tidal information. Note: RAF Valley is close by and so Military Aircraft can be seen and heard.
