“Our week was just perfect.”

The views from the windows over the the water were lovely, especially in the evening. The cottage was very comfortable, clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen to cook. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has both a bath and a shower over it. There is no Wi-Fi and no signal so if you need this, then you may find this a bother. However, we found switching off from technology was exactly what we needed and was refreshing. The hosts are available should you need them and are so friendly and kind. We loved our little treats on arrival, thank you. We would love to book again.

“Early days for lettings for the property yet it's position is great - right on the shore.”

The property itself is tiny although we knew this and were prepared so the size wasn't a factor. It's simply appointed and furnished although the second bedroom isn't furnished and would be a great advantage should bunk beds be used although this has to be considered against the small downstairs sitting / dining room and tiny galley kitchen. The drought caused the private water supply to almost dry up - particularly in the upstairs bathroom which meant by the end of the 3rd day we were struggling to get any water in the bathroom sink and neither could we flush the toilet although the owners had provided bottled water in an effort to compensate for this but it did sadly detract from what is a simple yet comfortable place in a great setting. The owners were lovely and friendly and clearly concerned about the water supply. if the water supply was more reliable we'd definitely consider returning and wish Johnathan and Julia all the best with their plans.

Couples looking for a quiet location with easy access to the wonders of Anglesey and North Wales are welcomed at 4 Old Baths, which offers stunning views across the water.

When you arrive, you will find two off-road parking places.

Take a time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings before getting to know your new home away from home.

So that you may enjoy movie nights with your loved ones to the fullest, spend your free time in the sitting area, which includes plush chairs, a TV, and an open fire.

Take the conversation into the kitchen, where you may make meals at home with the help of the equipment, then sit down at the dining table and raise a toast to a much-anticipated vacation with your special someone.

To ready for the day, head upstairs to the double bedroom and bathroom, where you can have a bath or a shower.

Start your day with a cup of coffee and a stroll down the coastline to take in the serene surroundings.

You can launch your own boat from the boatyard, and it's a great location for avid fishermen.

If you don't feel like cooking one night, visit Bangor's centre to choose from a variety of pubs, restaurants, and nightlife options like clubs, theatres, and concert halls.

For those who enjoy animals, Pili Palas Nature World and Anglesey Sea Zoo both offer live feedings of marine mammals and other animals.

For those with a sense of adventure, the renowned Menai outdoor activity centre offers lessons in windsurfing and sailing, as well as family outings that include kayaking, mountain biking, and adrenaline rib rides.

Travel to Anglesey and make a pit stop in Beaumaris, which has a bustling high street with ice cream stores and fish and chip restaurants as well as its own castle, which is ideally situated and has been kept since 1282.

With its own sailing club, Caernarfon Castle, and on-site Watch Tower, which are fantastic for excursions that teach about the area's history, Caernarfon is a must-see town.

With all of this and the magnificent Snowdonia National Park nearby, 4 Old Baths makes a fantastic base for exploring North Wales.

Menai Bridge 2.5 miles; Beaumaris 7 miles; Caernarfon 10 miles; Llanberis 11 miles.

Bangor is a university town on the North Wales coast with a large range of shops, bars and restaurants. It is the main crossing point for the Isle of Anglesey with two road bridges across the Menai Strait. Across the water, the castle and pier at Beaumaris make a lovely day out, or you can catch a boat to enjoy a trip out to Puffin Island. The Anglesey Coastal Path takes in beautiful scenery, and the island is home to many fine beaches including Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Red Wharf Bay. The NT mansion Plas Newydd is on the island, while on the mainland further NT properties can be found including Penrhyn Castle and Bodnant Gardens. The spectacular mountains and lakes of Snowdonia are just a short drive way, with plenty of castles, beaches and other attractions on offer in this wonderful region. Bangor and the Menai Straits really do offer the best of both worlds!
