The property

Nestled on the outskirts of the village of Y Felinheli, Gwynedd with easy access to the attractions of North Wales, lies this quaint, stone-built annexe, Avalon.

This quality barn conversion has been refurbished into a delightful holiday base for families, promising a charming getaway from your day-to-day routine.

After a day at the beach, kick off your sandy shoes and sink into the sofa, browsing the Smart TV for something good to watch.

Move through to the kitchen, appointed with all the essentials for a self-catered holiday, including an electric oven and hob and dishwasher, whilst windows on all sides provides plenty of natural lighting.

Climb the winding stairs to reach the first floor, where a large landing space provides an area to enjoy board games or a good read.

Settle down within either of the bedrooms; the family room hosts a double and single bed, while there is a king size with en-suite basin and WC, making this an ideal home for families.

There is also a ground-floor wet room where you can enjoy a good rinse before you start your day.

Take a drink outside to the sunny decking, equipped with picnic benches where you can enjoy an afternoon snack or alfresco meal on a balmy evening.

You can pick up your holiday essentials from the shop in Y Felinheli or a few miles further lies a supermarket.

Enjoy the Garddfon Pub on the waterfront in Felinheli, along with lovely cafes around the Marina.

The lively towns of Bangor and Caernarfon are nearby and provide a wealth of shops, places to eat and some beautiful architecture to admire.

Cross the bridge to access the wonderful Isle of Anglesey, where you can visit the vibrant town of Beaumaris on the east coast, or head to the west coast for an afternoon in Trearrdur Bay, home to a stunning sandy beach.

If you are visiting with younger guests, they will be thrilled with the GreenWood Family Park, boasting a wealth of family-friendly activities, located a mere five-minute drive away from Avalon.

If you’re seeking adventure, the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) provides endless walks and hikes, including routes up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales.
