    “This is a lovely bright space to spend a few days .”

    Well situated for exploring the whole of the island. I only deducted one star in the ratings because my husband kept hitting his head on the sloping ceiling, and he's only 5'6"

The charming studio-style property Cwt Ci is located in Bodffordd, close to Llangefni, in the centre of Anglesey.

Cwt Ci offers the best of both worlds, resting within driving distance to the coast, and enjoying countryside views, making it the ideal place for a romantic break.

Park your car and walk through the enclosed garden to the rear of the home.

Before ascending the stairs to the first floor, to take off your shoes and hang up your outerwear in the hallway, truly making yourself at home.

Be greeted into the living space, where you'll find a small kitchenette with a combi microwave/oven, a fridge with ice box, a kettle, and a toaster, as well as dining seats for two and plush armchairs in front of the Smart TV.

Relax in this area, or if you'd prefer some fresh Welsh air, unwind, socialise and eat in the private garden, ideal for an alfresco evening.

Return indoors to stargaze through the Velux windows and catch some rest in the sumptuous double bed, awakening to complete your morning routine in the ground-floor bathroom.

The breath-taking scenery of Llyn Cefni Dam is nearby, as are the paths through Nant Y Pandy Nature Reserve, or if you'd prefer an indoor activity, visit the Oriel Môn art gallery, which features some of the local talent.

Head into Llangefni for amenities, ready to stock up on necessities and dine out at one of the numerous local pubs or eateries on offer.

Visit the coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can enjoy a bag of fish and chips, bird watch, and fully appreciate a seascape; Red Wharf Bay Beach and Traeth Benllech are two of the area's favoured shorelines.

Pili Palas Nature World and the Anglesey Sea Zoo are other attractions in the county, recommended to visit if you're an animal lover, or if you’re more of an outdoor enthusiast, try your hand at kayaking and paddleboarding at the Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre before heading back home as the sun sets.

The large market town of Llangefni is built along the banks of the River Cefni and retains many historical buildings, including the Town Hall and the clock tower, which sit alongside shops, bars and restaurants, plus the town also has an art gallery. Llangefni is centrally located on Anglesey, situated only 7 miles from the wonderful beaches at Benllech and Red Wharf Bay, which offer miles of sandy coastline. This area of Anglesey is renowned for its beautiful sunsets, and the nearby beaches are ideal for families with safe, shallow bathing waters. The charming town of Beaumaris, the Sea Zoo, Pili Butterfly Palace and Plas Newydd are all on the island, while on the mainland, Penrhyn Castle, Bodnant Gardens and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia are easily reached, making Llangefni an ideal holiday base, all year round.
