The property

Perched on the outskirts of the popular seaside village of Treaddur Bay, Anglesey, rests this delightful, three-bedroom, detached holiday home, Awel Y Môr.

Boasting ample off-road parking, well-presented interiors, and huge, private garden to accompany, this charming property welcomes a family of six, or even a group of friends sharing, who are after a relaxing, self-catered escape near one of North Wales's most desirable coastlines.

Step into your new home-from-home, unpack your belongings, and make the most of the open-plan living areas.

A fully-equipped, galley-style kitchen awaits the designated chef, where all the appliances you could need are on hand to rustle up delicious, home-cooked meals that can be savoured around the dining table.

In warmer months, head out into the adjacent, gated garden, where you'll find a huge, grassed area with a patio and barbecue that can host a vibrant, alfresco feast.

In the evening, kick back in the sitting area to enjoy a film on the Smart TV by the warmth of a crackling woodburning stove before you head upstairs to refresh with a shower on your way to retiring for a well-earned rest in any of the three plush bedrooms.

After you've finished your morning coffee, rally the group and head out to explore what your local surroundings have to offer.

Awel Y Môr is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a brief drive north will bring you to the Trefignath historical landmark, whilst a similar car journey west will take you the Holyhead Golf Club, perfect for those looking to improve their short game.

Accessible on foot, a short walk will bring you into the village of Trearddur Bay, a popular seaside resort home to the lush sands of Traeth Trearddur; the Sea Shanty Cafe where you can grab some lunch whilst enjoying views of the Bay; the clear waters of Porth Castell, an idyllic setting for paddleboarding; and the stunning spot of the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve.

Enjoy all of this and more when you book a stay at Awel Y Môr.

About the location

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!

NB: No Stag or Hen parties allowed please
