“This was a perfect weeks holiday.”

The accomodation was great. It was a very wet week and the swimming pool and games room were well used. The Stables are spacious, comfortable, warm peaceful and I loved it. Location great conveniently near the main road and access to the island but feels away from it all with the fields and quiet, no road noise. I loved the very large kitchen table where we spent lots ot time socialising, enjoying meals and playing games. Then in the evenings lighting the log burner and all cosy in ...

I would recommend a holiday here and will return.

The property

Bryn Eira is a large L-shaped barn conversion in a courtyard setting surrounded by tranquil fields within the famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch on the south eastern corner of Anglesey. Up a few steps you enter into a spacious, light filled main entrance hallway, head to your right to find the main kitchen, with cabinets on 3 sides it is fully equipped with everything you need to cater for your group, the large farmhouse table with seating for 10 will allow you to enjoy the lovingly produced meals in a convivial atmosphere.

A corridor from the kitchen leads you down to a small twin bedroom, decorated in soothing blue and white with plenty of storage and on to a double room where the traditional furniture is lightened by the modern bedding.

Also from the kitchen you can reach the downstairs large shower room, where there is a loo, wash basin, walk in shower and heated towel rail.

The back door to the garden is found in this short corridor too.

From the entrance hallway you can see in front of you the conservatory, where you will find a large, comfortable leather sofa and rattan chairs, a wooden dinning table that can be extended if necessary and 6 dining chairs.

The fairy lights on the ceiling create a magical feeling and the perfect place to relax with good company and a glass of wine or beer, the double French doors from here lead directly to the patio with a outdoor furniture for 10 and a charcoal BBQ, the enclosed garden is laid mainly to lawn with trees and shrubs, out here children can play happily and safely.

There is farmland just over the wall so the bleating of sheep can often be heard!

Access to the sitting room is down one step from the hallway where the comfy sofas and the multi-fuel stove will invite you to get cosy and relax, use the 43" smart tv and DVD player to indulge in movie night.

Through the sitting room is a second smaller kitchen, which is fully equipped, and has a breakfast bar seating six, perfect for the early risers in the party.

A couple of steps down from this smaller kitchen will taken you into a 2nd smaller entrance hall, there is a smaller shower room with loo and wash basin.

Going through the hall way you will find the spacious super-king bedroom, perfect for those who need a bit of space, it has a sofa and tv which can be enjoyed in privacy.

With plenty of storage, who's calling dibs?

A staircase from the small hall way will take you upstairs to the master bedroom, where the king-sized sleigh bed and ensuite bathroom is sure to delight.

Just across the way is a light yet cosy twin bedroom again decorated with soothing blues and white.

Separate from Bryn Eira Stables, but around the same courtyard is a games room with a TV, DVD player, a small pool table and sofas - this even has its own loo!

A perfect place for children of all ages to have fun in a space of their own.

That means space for the adults in the main house, too! This fab family holiday house, which sleeps ten, has plenty of space to enjoy so you won’t feel like you’re tripping over your fellow guests’ feet!

Enjoy the social space of the conservatory year-round, settle in front of the fire, or take a trip to the pool. That’s right - the owners of Bryn Eira Stables also offer the shared use of an indoor heated swimming pool throughout the year! Bryn Eira Stables is a holiday house in LlanfairPG (as the locals call it!) and it’s just off the A55.

This makes it an ideal base for exploring all that Anglesey and wider North Wales has to offer.

The village has two pubs, a Spar, Co-Op, and a petrol garage, meaning you don’t have to stray far for the essentials!

If there are more than ten in your party you can also rent out The Tack Room (1008818) which sleeps 4 and is around the same courtyard.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £400.

About the location

LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLL

Menai Bridge 2 miles; Beaumaris 6 miles.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.

Note: The pool is NOT available for use from January 9th to February 16th 2024
Note: One dog with the party is free of charge, 2nd dog additional £20 supplement.

Only guests are allowed in the pool. No smoking, food or drink to be consumed in the pool or changing areas. Any damage caused by misuse or failure to follow the correct procedures could result in compensation being due. By using the pool you are committing to take responsibility for the acts or omissions of your party or guests.
