  • “Tray in shower for toiletries would help, some heavier duty curtains to reduce light in bedrooms, some hooks on backs of doors for bathrobes etc.”

Otherwise, this cottage is excellent all round with a stunning location

The property

Coed Bolyn Lodge, a former gamekeeper's stone cottage, in a pretty rural setting enjoying.

It enjoys 360' views across Snowdonia and the sea to Anglesey and beyond where you can watch the sun rise and set sun over the bay.

Great care has been taken to provide an easy happy holiday house.

Coed Bolyn Lodge has received excellent feedback from its guests.

A half mile walk will take you to the village of Bethel, post office and shop, and half a mile in the other directions will take you to the local pub.

The acclaimed restaurant at Ty'n Rhos is also less than a mile away for that special treat. "A perfect place to "switch off" and soak up the lovely views.

Not every house has such a spectacular view of Snowdon from the sitting room and you can enjoy the wonderful sun rise and the sun setting across the sea towards Anglesey.

This is such a great spot!" North Wales can provide thrills and adventures such as mountain biking, kayaking, golfing or riding to name but a few.

For the very adventurous try Velocity, an awesome zip ride!

As you are only 10 minutes off the A55, 4 miles from Caernarfon, 5 miles from either Bangor and Llanberis, Coed Bolyn Lodge is so well placed to explore them all......scenic train rides, magnificent castles, lakes and forests, the beaches of Anglesey.....so much to explore and enjoy with a home from home to return to every day.

About the location

Llanberis 2 miles; Caernarfon 4 miles; Betws-y-Coed 15 miles.

Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, a Post Office, a hotel with indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and a 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.
