  • “We had a fantastic week, this was our first time at Ty Arwen, but we've been to Lligwy twice before having stayed across the bay at Tyn Lon.”

This house is just as described, a wonderful house, 3 generations and our dog could share. A couple of things could help make it even better; some more garden furniture to be able to enjoy the great garden. Also the "Fish" room is a great room downstairs but lacks storage when used as a bedroom. Having this room and a downstairs wet room meant we could take our elderly parents, they would have benefitted from a grab rail in the wet room (we tried suction ones but they didn't work because of the textured tiles). These issues are meant as feedback and didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay at Ty Arwen. Our only problem now is deciding who to invite to share it with next time!

The property

Ty Arwen is a beautiful holiday house, on the east coast of Anglesey, set in private landscaped gardens with glorious views of Lligwy Bay, towards the Great Orme and the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia beyond.

The lovely beach at Lligwy is less than a mile away, and the little known Traeth yr Ora, which is accessible only by foot and retains a sense of isolation and uniqueness, is also close by. "What a fabulous view to wake up to each morning.

A beautiful, carefully throughtout home finished to a high standard with love and care!" The design of Ty Arwen, combined with its light and airy position and coastal location, makes it the perfect property for a holiday whatever the season.

In the warm summer months, after a hard day on the beach, you can open up the patio doors and enjoy a glass of wine out on the rear decking or front patio. In the winter, you can cosy up in the spacious lounge with a fire roaring, and waste hours taking in the dramatic sea and mountain views. Ty Arwen incorporates many environmentally sound building techniques.

The quality of the furnishings perfectly complements the way in which the property is finished, with high quality tiled, laminate and oak floors, underfloor heating, triple glazing and high levels of insulation.
