“We loved the open plan area upstairs, and all the bedrooms were spacious and was fantastic to have own bathrooms.”

As the house sleeps 8 maybe a bigger fridge in the kitchen and an airfare to help with space in the oven when cooking. Garden could do with some tlc, shaded area or umberrella / canopy, plants or ornaments to make it look more appealing to sit in (we had mist so couldn’t see the mountains on the mainland), also would recommend a small fridge downstairs as it’s a fair way up and down those stairs! Luckily we had a camping fridge which we kept filling up! We were also quite alarmed that ...

Luckily we had a camping fridge which we kept filling up! We were also quite alarmed that the hot tub guy arrived well before we checked out, we were upstairs finalising bin runs etc and he didn’t shout up or knock? If we have the place till 10am I would expect it just to be accessible to us Other than that, we loved the pub and locals next door, it was ideal for what we wanted and would recommend to others for future and maybe return ourselves sometime

About the location

MALLTRAETH

Newborough 2 miles; Rhosneigr 8 miles.

The small village of Malltraeth lies in the south west corner of Anglesey, at the head of the long inlet formed by the Cefni Estuary and close to the popular Newborough Forest and Warren sand dunes. Malltraeth Pool and the magnificent sweep of marshes and sand dunes, which stretch south to Llanddwyn Island, are all part of a National Nature Reserve. The whole area is renowned for its birdlife and Malltraeth was once home to the famous wildlife artist Charles F Tunnicliffe. There are wonderful forest and coastal walks from the village, which has a pub, a cafe serving afternoon tea and a chip shop (also selling basic items/newspapers etc). Close by are beautiful beaches at Llanddwyn (reputedly the 4th best in Britain), Aberffraw, and Cable Bay, or head to Rhosneigr, which is renowned for its all year round watersports facilities.
