  • “We loved the cottage & especially the garden where the wildlife was amazing.”

The red squirrels would pose outside the kitchen window & the woodpecker & nuthatches all stayed long enough for a good photograph. What we liked about the cottage was that there was plenty of space for everyone, the kitchen was very well equipped, the wifi was reliable & the boiler cupboard was great for drying the wetsuits. What we liked about the cottage was that there was plenty of space for everyone, the kitchen was very well equipped, the wifi was reliable & the boiler cupboard was great for drying the wetsuits. Even when it was very windy, the garden was sheltered enough to have a bbq & lovely to sit out in the evening & hear the owls calling to each other. We picked loads of blackberries in the lane outside the cottage & made plum crumble with fruit we picked from the garden. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday & although the cottage feels as if it's deep in the countryside, it's only 11 minutes from the beach.

The property

A delightful white painted stone holiday cottage nestled in a sheltered pretty garden which is bathed in sunshine all day.

A quaint cottage which has a home from home comfortable feel to it, you will be sure to unwind and relax here. "Hen Felin is the perfect place to escape the hurly burly of today's busy life, sit and listen to the birds in the garden and enjoy this comfy house, beaches all a short drive away." Hen Felin is a short drive from Rhosneigr and Treaddur Bay, both of which have wonderful sandy beaches and good places to eat.

Cyclists will enjoy the quiet lanes around the cottage.

The view along the lane across the fields to the sea is wonderful.
