“The cottage was pretty much as described.”
It was very clean, which at this time we felt was extra important. The sea and countryside views from the rear garden were lovely, and we even managed to sit out one afternoon, but we did use our own comfy chairs, as only a picnic bench with fixed seats is available. The local red squirrels make regular visits to the garden, and these kept us entertained, and there are some nice walks in the area.

The cottage is fairly well equipped, and the big fridge/freezer very useful for a full weeks shop
But the one thing we really missed was a TV in the lounge area. This was a really nice room, but we never used it. One of the sofas in the snug was ok, but the other was not very comfortable. This is the one thing that really let the property down, especially at this time of year when the nights are drawing in, and you don't spend as much time outside.
We read other reviews saying that a little TLC , and we would agree with that. We parked on the verge outside the cottage as the car would not fit onto the drive.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, despite the Covid-19 restrictions.
