The property

Set in a rural location with breathtaking views on the east coast of Anglesey this spacious country holiday cottage has oodles of charm.

Goleufryn is a blend of traditional and contemporary and so comfortable and well equipped you will have a completely relaxing holiday soaking up the stunning views from many of the rooms.

The kitchen has a lovely cosy seating area with a wood burning stove and sofa so everyone can be together while meals are prepared.There’s an electric cooker, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and breakfast table.The washing machine is located in the under-stairs storage area.The dining room has a large table with seating for up to eight people. In the sitting room are comfy sofas around a wood burning stove, a flat screen TV and DVD player.There is also a study or reading room with a sofa and desk.

Each of these rooms have wonderful views. Upstairs is a master room with king size bed and patio doors opening on to small decked area and access to the top garden.The ensuite to this room has a bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin.There are a further two double rooms on this floor with a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom with bath and shower over, separate shower, loo and wash hand basin. The top floor has a twin room in the eaves that children will love as well as a shower room with shower, loo and wash hand basin. At the front of the house is a large garden laid to lawn with shrubs, the back garden is elevated to make the most of the stunning vistas.The sunsets that you can see from here are utterly sublime.There is a wonderful Victorian orangery that is currently being renovated by the Owners.

There is parking for 2/3 cars. "Stunning, panoramic sea views - on a clear day you can even see the Isle of Man!" A private gate from the garden will take you straight on to the Mariandyrys Nature Reserve.

Across the road from Goleufryn there is a footpath leading to Fedw Fawr, a National Trust Common leading to White Beach. Beaumaris with its historic Castle, Gaol, Courthouse and a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and individual shops is less than 10 minutes away.

The village of Llangoed is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the beautiful east corner of the Isle of Anglesey, offering a shop and Post Office. Nearby is the fascinating and attractive town of Beaumaris, boasting a 13th century castle, Georgian and early Victorian houses and shops, a number of excellent tea rooms, restaurants and stylish shops, and a delicatessen. Visit the town’s old courthouse and Victorian gaol, or the pier where you can fish for crabs or catch a boat to see the birds on Puffin Island. From the pier and promenade there are spectacular views across the Menai Straits and Snowdonia. Nearby Penmon Priory, founded in the 6th Century by Saint Seiriol and with its Holy Well and Dovecote, is just a short walk away on the coastal footpath.

Note: The nature of the rear garden of this property means that there are some areas that could be hazardous and guests with young children need to be mindful of this.
