    The standard of appliances exceeded our expectations. The position of house was very central and across the road from an excellent restaurant. There were plenty of cleaning materials if necessary and a lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated.

The property

Ar Lan y Mor is a fabulous townhouse, perfectly situated for enjoying all the delights of Menai Bridge and beyond.

Arrive, unpack and relax on the balcony with a cuppa or glass of wine prior to exploring the delights of this buzzing little town. Open plan living space is on the first floor with comfortable seating area and doors leading out to the balcony with patio furniture, perfect for watching the world go by! The modern kitchen has a breakfast bar, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.

The washing machine is in the ground floor utility room.

Next to the kitchen there is a dining area with table and chairs, seating up to four people. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with king size bed.

There’s a further bedroom that offers flexibility as the bed can either be made up as a king size or twin beds. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with shower over, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Ar Lan Y Mor is a short walk from Menai Bridges High Street which offers a choice of places to eat and drink from a Michelin Star restaurant to a good old fish and chip shop and you are just across the road from Dylan's!

There are great walks from the doorstep, including one that takes you along the banks of the Menai Strait and under the Menai suspension bridge.

You can enjoy crabbing from the pier, go on a Rib Ride adventure or head up the Strait on your kayak - all without having to jump in the car

Llanfairpwllgwyngyll 2 miles; Bangor 2.5 miles; Beaumaris 4.5 miles; Caernarfon 8 miles

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 9th century, hence the name of the 14th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.
