  • “This holiday house and it's location was everything I hoped it would be.”

We wanted to enjoy the view of the bridge every day and watch the Strait.....and that's what we did. So lucky with weather. Cups of tea in the sunshine on the little front terrace, bird, seal and watersports spotting was the chilled time we hoped for. Lovely to run early in the quiet and cross the bridge too for fab views. So easy to visit so many places on the Island from here. Booked as a special treat and it was.

The property

Brig Y Don holiday house used to belong to an artist.

It was where a lot of the artist's works were completed and you can find small hints of this as you wander around. During the incredible refurbishment many of the original features have been kept, making sure the fabulous character of the house has not been lost.

One of our favourite parts of Brig Y Don is how much of the house looks out to the ever-changing Menai Strait.

You can truly relax and unwind whilst you watch the world pass by on the busy waters.

It is a really special house, a modern interior and we must say the most breath-taking views! "This is the perfect house to relax and soak up the views of boats sailing under the splendid Menai Suspension Bridge, stroll into town for something to eat and enjoy the interesting shops.

This is one house that has everything within an easy grasp." A great location for exploring both Anglesey and Snowdonia, and you can enjoy all that the little town of Menai Bridge has to offer.

From the doorstep take a walk along the Menai Strait to Church Island where you will see plenty of wildlife or admire the views from the Telford Suspension Bridge.

Interesting individual shops and lots of interesting restaurants and cafes will mean you're never far from a perfect pit stop!
