The property

Moranedd is a splendid, pet-free terraced townhouse, on a charming lane a few footsteps from the pier in Menai Bridge, perfect for a family to escape to a wonderful Welsh break.

With the name painted on the glass of the traditional and striking blue front door you will find your holiday home without any bother.

The flight of stairs will take you to the first-floor, which is lovingly renovated to a high standard with an open-plan living space, shower room and two bedrooms, with the third master bedroom ensconced on the top floor.

You will find everything you need to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal in the well-equipped contemporary kitchen, equipped with all the amenities you'll need for a self-catered trip, before making your way over to the charming dining table for a fun-filled evening of good food and great company.

After your meals have been cleaned up in the dishwasher, get yourself tucked in on the plush corner sofa with a snug blanket and bowl of popcorn, choosing a film to enjoy, if you can take your eyes off the sea views.

This floor has access to a beautiful shower room, accompanied by a spacious walk-in shower with sleek fixtures and a heated towel rail, the two bedrooms on this floor have full access to the shower room, one has a king-sized double and the other a set of bunks.

At the end of the day retreat to one of the spacious bedrooms, with one lucky couple taking full advantage of the gorgeous master suite with the super king-size bed on the second floor, an enclosed mezzanine level area possessing a soaring, yet intimate sloping ceiling with dreamy wooden beams, boasting of wonderful views to the water from both eves windows, as well as a lavish en-suite bathroom with both a separate bath and shower for your choosing.

Meander across the lane to the small green and get comfy on a bench while the kids play in the grass and soak up the almost Mediterranean feel found so close to the water, see the sunrise down The Straits to the Great Orme and witness the preparations of the Prince Madog Research vessel at the pier.

Dylan's Restaurant is the waterfront dining experience found steps away on the corner, here you can order tasty pizzas and a classic dish of Welsh mussels with cream and cider, surrounded with independent, individual shops and cafés, not to mention plenty of pubs serving wonderful food a short stroll from the house.

Wander down along the Belgium Promenade and enjoy the ever-changing Menai Straits, while admiring engineering feat that is the Menai Suspension Bridge, discover more at the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum or for those who like a bit of an adrenalin rush catch a RibRide boat trip down The Straits.

Take a picture of the famous place name sign at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, or take the kids to one of the fantastic attractions at Pili Palas Nature World or Anglesey Sea Zoo.

Beaumaris is a historic town where you can visit the well-preserved Beaumaris Castle or old Town Gaol, wander over to Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour to sample the local sweet treats.

Spend a day relaxing at an Anglesey beach, taking your pick from either Benllech Beach, Llanddwyn Beach, Trearddur Bay, Porth Swtan, and many more!

This delightful town sits right on the edge of the Isle of Anglesey and is home to one of two bridges to mainland Wales. It is an ideal base for a holiday and is great for exploring this beautiful island. It has a strong history which can be discovered in the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum, the well known Saint Tysilio lived on Church Island, just off of Anglesey in the 7th century, hence the name of the 15th century St. Tysilio's Church. Menai Bridge itself offers a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. In terms of entertainment, this is an ideal spot with something for everybody, there is the butterfly palace 'Pili Palas' which is incredibly popular with families, as well as the astounding Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens well worth a walk around. The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance for you outdoor enthusiasts, it has wonderful walking, cycling and opportunities to see some beautiful sights. Nearer to the town, there are some incredible places including the popular towns of Beaumaris and Caernarfon with their majestic castles and much more to do.
