“Excellent - attention to detail by owners was top drawer.”

Shame there was no outdoor seating in garden to enjoy day long sun - as we had great weather but balcony was lovely in the mornings. (Appreciate that in a shared building/communal gardens that a bench may not be allowed).

The property

This chic, elegant and beautifully appointed holiday apartment is on the second floor of a stunning Victorian mansion, situated within an acre of mature woodlands and set in an elevated position overlooking the Menai Strait on the south east coast of Anglesey. "Penthouse conjures up glam, smart, chic and this is what you get when you arrive, the perfect place to relax and unwind." Within easy walking distance is the little town of Menai Bridge, and Beaumaris is about two miles away.

The two towns offer an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes and interesting little shops, along with a host of attractions including Beaumaris castle and the Victorian gaol.

Just around the corner are the fabulous Plas Cadnant hidden gardens and tea room (limited opening times - please check first!).

Afterwards, why not walk along to Dylan's on the waterfront in Menai Bridge for dinner? The Penthouse offers roomy, luxurious accommodation, finished to the highest possible standard with sumptuous fabrics, natural woods and leather.

It is equipped with everything you can imagine to complement your holiday - plasma TV and DVD players in all rooms, Wi-Fi, combined iPod dock, CD player and DAB radio. There will be a welcome bottle of wine cooling in the fridge, along with complimentary toiletries in each bathroom.

The perfect place to relax and unwind, while you enjoy the beauty of the North Welsh countryside and the hospitality of the people!
