The property

Bay View is a well-presented, detached property, enjoying spectacular views over the East coast of Anglesey and Snowdonia. The spacious accommodation, in the former fishing village of Moelfre, offers a wonderful base for a family seeking a traditional Welsh coastal getaway to an area enjoying an unspoilt coastline, picturesque landscapes and a number of historical and archaeological landmarks, as well as an active lifeboat service.

The striking blue exterior of the property welcomes you as you drive in to its off-road parking space and after soaking up the scenic views , look forward to unwinding in a traditional Welsh cottage which contains everything you could possibly need to enjoy a break with loved ones.

Choose to unwind in the sitting room, where you can curl up on one of the leather chairs or the sofa and tune in to the TV or enjoy the views.

Alternatively, wander through to the converted conservatory, where you can sink into the armchairs which rest in front of a wood burning stove and indulge in one of the selection of books that await you, including many dealing with the local history and other nearby places of interest.

The traditional charm of the property is continued in the kitchen which comes with all the quality appliances you will be able prepare delicious family meals that can then be eaten in the adjoining dining room, where views across the bay can be enjoyed whilst tucking in!

As the evening draws to a close, venture up the staircase, where there are three well-presented bedrooms, comprising two double bedrooms and a bunk bedroom, each boasting a refreshing colour palette and ample storage and space. To the outside, there are two sitting areas, as well as an ample lawned area for either children or pets to enjoy during the summer months.

If you don’t feel like cooking one evening, a short stroll will bring you to a restaurant and a local pub serving food, as well as a fish and chip shop.

The local convenience shop is also nearby to pick up essentials. Whilst staying here, venture to one of the village’s small sheltered bays, or to one of three sandy beaches nearby.

Alternatively, begin a walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path, which starts on the corner before you drove along the track to Bay View.

After only a short distance, after passing what was the original lifeboat station on your right, you will come to the Seawatch Centre, a small museum and shop celebrating the rich maritime history of the area and the importance of the sea in the lives of the people of Moelfre.

You may also spot a porpoise or dolphin whilst on your walk! Bay View is a superb base for exploring this part of the coast.
