The property

Ty Cefn is a lovely holiday cottage in the seaside village of Moelfre on Anglesey.

Inside, it’s period character shines through with unique fittings and fixtures.

The cosy sitting room has a wood burner which makes this a wonderful holiday cottage all year round!

The snug and cosy sitting room has comfortable sofas set around a wood burner and TV. The large kitchen is open plan to include the dining area.

The kitchen has a rustic feel and has an electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, Belfast sink and open shelves.

The dining table is reclaimed and will be great for family meals. A small under stairs cupboard in the bathroom houses the washing machine.


There is are twin and bunk bedrooms on the ground floor as well as the family bathroom with vintage freestanding bath, loo and wash hand basin. The double master bedroom is on the first floor and has an open plan staircase and TV as well as an ensuite containing a shower cubicle, loo and hand wash basin. The large south-facing paved garden has plenty of outdoor furniture for sitting outside with your morning cuppa.

There is parking for two cars.

Ty Cefn sits in the picturesque village of Moelfre on Anglesey which offers stunning coastline, great cafes and restaurants, a child-friendly pub serving bar meals, and interesting little shops.

The family friendly, sandy beach at Lligwy is a short drive away as is the Blue Flag beach at Benllech, perfect for whiling away an afternoon in the sunshine.

Further away is the vibrant town of Beaumaris which has a good selection of trendy shops and bars and a pier for a lazy meander to enjoy the views or take a boat trip around Puffin Island.

Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. A perfect location for travelling around this lovely island and throughout beautiful Snowdonia.
