We loved our week at Chybean. ...

We loved our week at Chybean. The house itself is a new build and looks very impressive. It’s decorated and kitted our to a high spec. The 3 bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin) were really comfortable and decent size. The view from the master was beautiful. We loved the minimalist feel to the rooms but the master would benefit from a small chest of drawers for clothes (a minor point though) The view from the bathrooms was fab too. The lovely horses in the field opposite and the mountains beyond. The house has lots of windows to make the most of the sunlight and the views but it does mean you have to be sure to close the blinds at times! The kitchen is well equipped. Couldn’t fault it. The living space and dining space lovely too. Good WiFi. Used the Bluetooth speaker a lot too (didn’t use the tv much. The hot tub was fab! Really enjoyed it. If I was to make any suggestions for improvement it would be to improve the outside space. There’s a picnic table which is lovely but some recliners or other outside chairs would have been nice. There was one chair on the balcony and another on the patio. A bbq would have been nice too. Also the facility for plastic recycling would be good and perhaps a space to store bikes etc. All small points but would edge the property to a 10/10! The neighbours are really friendly and welcoming too. The area itself is gorgeous. Amazing walks around the dunes, beach and forest. Turn right out the gate and down the lane and you’re on a lovely circular path through the dunes and amongst the wild ponies. Takes 11/2 hours. The local chippy is excellent. Unfortunately the pub was either closed or not serving food the twice we went but think we were unlucky. The little cafe at the model village is walking distance and the marram grass looks amazing but we never got there! All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely go again.

The property

This beautiful timber framed house is a real treat for the eyes and for the senses!

Light floods in from the huge glazed sections spanning the entire rear section of the downstairs, which really captures the environment and brings the outside inside so that you can really get a sense of the stunning countryside location no matter what time of year.

The timber is exposed throughout, making a feature of the sunning workmanship and this teamed with the log burner and the underfloor heating creates a wonderfully cosy space.

What a house and what a location.

You will not be disappointed! Tucked down in the Newborough Warren, this is such a peaceful setting.
