The property

Llangefni 4 miles.

Yr Erw is a detached country cottage located in Paradwys, Anglesey (Ynys Môn), near Llangefni.

Set in a rural setting with a large, enclosed garden with an orchard, this wonderful home provides off-road parking for two cars, plenty of living space, and a great base for travelling Anglesey and North Wales for a family of four.

Kick off your shoes and leave your coats in the porch before making yourself at home in the sitting room.

Choose from a range of books or turn on the Smart TV, then relax in the leather sofa set in front of the woodburning stove; during the day, the patio door leading out to the garden brings in plenty of natural light.

Summer nights can be spent relaxing in this secluded outdoor space with a chilled drink, while the lawn and orchard provide space for games, picnics, and whiling away the hours in the sun.

Inside, the cottage-style kitchen features an electric oven and stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher, everything else you'll need to produce home cooking for your family!

Breakfast can be served at the table for four or next door in the living/dining room, which has a table with bench seating as well as another sitting area with a view of the garden.

Freshen up in the cloakroom or head upstairs to the family bathroom, where you can soak in the tub or rinse off in the shower over.

Both bedrooms, a double and a twin, are lovingly furnished with storage space and bedside lighting, as well as offering rural views of the countryside and your private garden.

Take a peaceful country walk, dine at Tafarn Y Rhos, or stock up at the Bethel convenience shop to explore your serene surroundings.

The county town of Llangefni has plenty to offer visitors, including Y Becws Mefus for pies and pastries, The Foundry Vaults pub, and Oriel Môn for local history and tradition; The Dingle (Nant-y-Pandy) Nature Reserve includes excellent walks and native wildlife.

Newborough (Niwbwrch) is close by, with the beautiful Traeth Llanddwyn, or you can drive to the east coast for Benllech and Red Wharf Bay to discover Anglesey's beautiful beaches.

Pili Palas Nature World, the National Trust's Plas Newydd House and Gardens, and the historic town of Beaumaris, with its spectacular 13th-century castle, are all great places to visit on the island.

The Anglesey Coastal Path, Ucheldre Centre, and Holyhead Maritime Museum can be found in the bustling town of Holyhead, but if you're looking for some fresh air, the coastal park of Parc Arfordirol Penrhos and Breakwater Country Park (Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi) are both close by for walking, fishing, and wildlife watching!

Perhaps a day excursion to Dublin or a drive across the Menai Bridge to Bangor, Caernarfon, and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park are on the cards?

A staycation at Yr Erw is sure to be an unforgettable Anglesey experience.
