The bedrooms with their angled ceiling and beams are quirky and quaint, with quality beds and linen.One bedroom is accessed up a narrow ship's staircase, and has an adjoining space for yoga/exercise.This is a peaceful and unusual place to unwind, under beautiful dark night-skies.
In 30-40 minutes you can follow the coastal path to Penmon Point (one of The Guardian's top ten UK beaches in 2019), where there's a cafe for your morning coffee or lunch.Or, use the permit provided which enables you to park at the historic Penmon Priory and use the toll road to Penmon Point.
Nearby there is walking to suit all, from strolls around the ruins of Castell Aberlleiniog or the red squirrel woodland at Henllys Hall, to long rambles along the Coastal path, with pebbly White Beach just a mile away.Beaumaris, an attractive town with good restaurants, pubs, a pier and a castle, is a ten-minute drive.There are many stunning Anglesey beaches within easy striking distance, while Snowdonia with its beautiful scenery/walking routes and wide range of attractions can be reached in 30-40 minutes.
