  • “Lovely set up, there were people in the other cottages yet it was still very peaceful .”

Well situated for places to eat and to explore the island also good to access supermarkets if necessary . Bed was extremely comfortable and the welcome tray was a nice touch.

The property

Tyn Towyn is a quiet, exclusive holiday development, with beautiful beaches and lovely walks right on the doorstep.

It is located on the west coast of Anglesey, in the seaside village of Trearddur Bay.

The beach is only a minutes walk away, and within a ten minute walk you will find bars and restaurants.

There's also a golf course ten minutes away from the holiday cottage. This has been a labour of love for the owner, who has ensured that every single detail is a statement of luxury, from the oak farmhouse doors right through to the soft furnishings and finishing touches. "One of eight fabulous properties set around a courtyard.

Each cottage is individual with carefully chosen art, great living spaces, and gleaming bathrooms.

A perfect retreat central for Trearddur Bay." Each holiday cottage is named after the colour of its front door, and each has its own personality and style.

The accommodation is exceptionally well thought out, making full use of the space, and offers everything you could need in a modern holiday cottage. Ty Melyn (‘Yellow House') is a fantastic first floor apartment.

You will find the same luxurious interior here as in all the other cottages, and what a triumph in such a compact space! To view the other cottages at Tyn Towyn, click here.

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
