  • “There was a welcome book with useful information about shops and eating places and places to visit.”

    And recycling.

    And recycling. We could not find a housekeeping booklet with information about the water pressure or lack of water pressure and how to adjust it, as many have said it is impossible to have a shower and a bath at the same time and only one shower really slows down the time for 8 people to get ready for a night out after being on the beach, I am sure there is a remedy.

Get settled at one of the excellent local pubs on the shore front, including The Ship Inn, The Boathouse or The Tavern On The Bay, as you watch the tide come in.

Venture up to Benllech, the neighbouring village, to enjoy the golden sands and clear blue waters of Benllech Beach, as well as, take advantage of the wide array of shops, pubs and takeaways here too.

The Anglesey Coastal Path offers walkers the chance to discover new terrain whilst providing incredible scenery, an easy and free way to get some fresh air and appreciate the island.

Visit the popular Anglesey attractions of Pili Palas Nature World, Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, The Menai Bridges Exhibition at Menai Bridge, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park, all great for families and all ages!

Enjoy an exciting Rib Ride from Menai Bridge, speeding through the waters, or embark on a Sea Safari from Beaumaris to Puffin Island to catch sight of its many seabirds, the resident grey seals and maybe even some porpoises and dolphins if you're lucky!

Benllech has a beautiful, long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafés front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The setting promises to suit every taste, with the village itself ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
