“Poor! Two problems reported and nothing done about them!”

! No contact from yourselves or the owners after we had reported two separate issues! Ensuite bedroom cold! Rubbish at the rear of the property with vermin helping themselves!! Second double bedroom bed has no centre support so you roll into the middle of the bed!! Generally speaking it was quite dirty and dusty!! Rubbish under draws and wardrobes! Shower screen in main bathroom has the handle missing which leaves two holes for the water to go through and onto the floor! Couldn’t really see ...

I shouldn’t have to tell you about these things for you to put right, they should already have been picked and sorted before our arrival as I believe it was empty the week before ? A second TV would be good and a coffee machine would have been nice for the prices charged and wouldn’t have had to bring my own. Again as stated previously by another visitor, the picture shows a detached property but the front third is a separate rental. False advertising!! I could go on but I want.

“The slats on bed in the en suite bedroom kept coming out making for a very uncomfortable nights sleep.”

When booking it appears to be a detached property bus in fact two units. The patio was found to be very precarious as the steps were on the side,my husband slipped off and fractured his Calcaneus(ankle bone)resulting in a half day spent at hospital,strongly recommends a hand rail should be fitted urgently,study photos and description before booking especially if taking children.

“We had a wonderful week in Christ Church, a beautiful converted chapel in the heart of Rhosneigr.”

You could see the sea from the kitchen and upper window with a short walk to hit the beach so perfect for a beachside holiday. Great size rooms with everything you need for comfort in your stay, even a jacuzzi bath and strong shower to clear away the sand. Only minor issue was unusable patio seating outside, furniture was badly weathered, but future holiday makers will be reassured these are getting replaced just not in time for our early summer stay - booked again for next year!

“What a stunning place to call home for a week.”

It was well equipted and some lovely little extras. Great kitchen with all we needed and beds were comfortable. It would benifit from a hand rail upto the living area as was a struggle for my less agile parents. Some comfy outside furniture would have been nice also as its a sun trap in the evenings to enjoy a drink. The beach / dunes is a short walk across the road and a 10 mins to town for shops etc All in all a fabulous place to stay and would definitley reccomend.

“We transferred our booking to Christ Church the day before departure due to being informed about unforeseen circumstances affecting our original booking.”

Christ Church is situated at the edge of the village of Rhosneigr and although next to the road into the village, the thick walls and double-glazed windows keeps road noise to a minimum. It is a very short walk into the village to amenities and an even shorter walk to the beach accessed by a road opposite the property. The property itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and well-appointed. We particularly liked the ecclesiastical purple used throughout! The kitchen is well-equipped with a full size fridge and freezer which really suited us as we love to cook. There is a good sized enclosed garden which was great for our dogs. The patio area is a sun trap in the evening, perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach. Although Christ Church does not have the typical sea view, it's position and character more than makes up for this and we had a thoroughly relaxing and peaceful holiday at this property. We would highly recommend it and we will be returning. May 2024

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit .”

The accommodation was fantastic and the location even better. The only let down was a few cleanliness issues inside and outside the property. Although we’ll stocked some of the kitchen utensils and pots /pans etc we’re in need of a clean before use. Strong nasty smells from both the dishwasher and washing machine. Both needed cleaning before use . The Jacuzzi bath expelled black gunk when used for the first time . Barbecues outside we’re not useable due to age and cleanliness. These issues did not stop us from an enjoyable stay although I would probably look for other accommodation when visiting this area again

Apologies that you had some cleanliness issues. Our cleaner prides herself and her team on making sure that guests have a good experience. She sent me photos prior to your arrival and I think she presented the property in a great way. She has also tried to contact you to see if you would like the medicines that you left at the property returned. I'm sorry to read that the dishwasher/washing machine had smells on arrival. I am here now with my family and we have not experienced any bad odours, so I think by running a programme with no contents, must have shifted any odour, so thank-you for that. Regarding the Jacuzzi, the cleaner also cleans nozzles with each changeover and the Jacuzzi operates a "run-on" after each use to ensure the system is cleaned out, so I am unsure why this happened during your stay, but I am happy to investigate. ***UPDATE*** We have flushed out the system today and all pipes are super clean again. It's a shame you didn't let us know that your party had broken table lamps. It is hard to ensure that the property is in great condition for the next guests without being informed of any breakages. Finally, I hope you and your party return to Rhosneigr again in the future, but I agree with your comments on using other accommodation. Your party was too large to stay at my beautiful property. The property

Christ Church is a magnificent, converted chapel nestled in the coastal village of Rhosneigr, Sir Ynys Mon.

Just a stone’s throw away from the beach, this fabulous dwelling provides a unique getaway for families, couples and friends looking to explore this corner of North Wales.

Upon arrival, find off-road parking directly outside the chapel, with space for up to two cars.

Take a moment to appreciate the fresh air and catch glimpses of the sea just beyond the road, before heading inside.

The interior has retained much of the chapel’s history; the living area boasts high vaulted ceilings with large church windows, along with the original organ which was used in the chapel services.

The dining table is a reformed church bench and the kitchen comes well-equipped with all the mod cons required for a short stay.

A patio door leads out to the enclosed garden where the little ones can roam about the lawn whilst you enjoy a refreshing drink on the patio.

The ground-floor also offers three bedrooms, including two doubles, one with the master en-suite and a twin.

A spiral staircase leads to the upper mezzanine where you will find a double bed and small play area with table football.

The local village of Rhosneigr is famed for its stunning beach, boasting golden sands and blissful tranquillity, or test your hand at a vast array of activities such as paragliding, kite surfing, sailing and fishing.

Within a short walk there are plenty of quirky cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops that you can sample at your own pace.

Further afield, you can visit Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi – Breakwater Country Park, a haven for birdwatching and glorious walks amidst picturesque surroundings.

Take a day trip to Beaumaris, the gateway to the island of Anglesey and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; here you can explore its 13th century castle, the oldest in Britain, or take a leisurely stroll along the bustling Highstreet and enjoy some delicious food from the many restaurants.

The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. Note:The stage of the church has three steps. There is low ceiling height in the Mezzanine that guests need to be aware of. Staircase is spiral, so guests just need to take care, as they would on any stairs.
