“Stunning family accommodation which exceeded our expectations.”

Plenty of space for our multi-generational family members to hang out together. Fortunately we had beautiful weather so didn’t need to use all the wonderful shared space.

Plenty of space for our multi-generational family members to hang out together. Fortunately we had beautiful weather so didn’t need to use all the wonderful shared space. Just one irritation. Big house that accommodates large family eating experiences but sadly only two hobs which made cooking a little challenging. However, would recommend this wonderful house and hoping to go again very soon.

The property

Offering spacious and sophisticated accommodation in the seaside village of Rhosneigr on the west coast of Anglesey, Belan Fawr is a fantastic place to enjoy a coastal break.

Large groups or families holidaying together will love the many rooms and areas to enjoy within the property as well as being close by to amenities and attractions.

Spend evenings in the bright and spacious kitchen area cooking for the family making use of the two electric ovens, large larder fridge and the substantial kitchen island while still able to chat to the rest of your party as they relax on the sofas at the other end of the room.Gather together in the dining space for a family meal and talk over the days adventures, then before you go your separate ways for the night you can retire to one of the armchairs looking out towards the sea with a nightcap, or head into the large sitting area to sink into one of the sofas in front of the woodburning stove and get lost in a film on the Smart TV.Head into the little library room, choose a book from the lovely collection and sink into the comfortable armchair in this quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the house, even equipped with its own ladder to reach that top shelf.Catch up on some office work if you need to in the charming study, or take pleasure in quality time with your little ones in the playroom/snug with a selection of games and DVDs.

You will also find a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, a sink and a large American fridge/freezer, this is also a useful space for drying wet coats!

After a sandy day on the beach make use of the ground-floor walk-in shower room, while a family bathroom rests on the first floor with a bath with a shower over.

Belan Fawr has two staircases, with each leading to one half of the first floor; head up the first set to find the attractive super king-size bedroom which benefits from an en-suite shower room, as well as a single bedroom which is where the connecting door to the second half lies.Choose to use this door as access to the second half of the first floor depending on what your party prefers, or use the other stairs to embark upon the final three bedrooms; a triple room with three single beds, a single bedroom which enjoys a beautiful balcony, and a double bedroom which has an en-suite shower room and a dressing room. All of the bedrooms provide a restful and peaceful place to relax at the end of the day, with plenty of space and storage.

Visit either one of Rhosneigr's beautiful beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, when you're not enjoying the spacious lawned garden and patio at Belan Fawr, with both sandy stretches offering gorgeous spots to spend the day, and afterwards choose one of Rhosneigr's charming cafés or restaurants for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink, or if you want to venture a little further afield you will find castles, mountains and lakes to explore, and little towns if you prefer to wander around the shops.

Belan Fawr will be a welcome escape to North Wales for you and your family.
