“The kitchen floor was filthy, there were cobwebs in the lounge with dead flies in it, and the Windows had lots of bird poo on them.”
we couldn't find a washing machine, or a key for the bike shed. There are no power points next to a mirror, in either bedroom. No twin power point in the bathroom for toothbrush or shaver. A definite shortage of coat hangers. Also it would have been nice to know that the property that this house is behind, is undergoing building work, it was like staying on a building site, they started at 7.30am
Having said all that, the decor was very nice, some lovely touches.

Owner Response: Hi Denise, Thank you for your review. Brookfield is a new holiday cottage and we have taken on board your suggestions. Since your stay we have placed 12 wooden coat hangers in each of the bedrooms instead of the 6. We have also added electric point near to the mirrors in the bedrooms. We are disappointed to hear that the kitchen floor didn’t meet your standards. We have spoken to the cleaners to ensure that this won't happen again. We expect high standards of cleanliness at our property and we’ll work hard to make sure those standards are kept to in the future. We have also spoken Mike next door who currently renovating his holiday home. He is a lovely man and I know that he would have never made a noise so early if he'd thought it would have disturbed or spoilt your holiday. He has been made aware of your comments.\nWe are sorry the birds messed on the windows. We do employ a window cleaner but obviously cannot predicted when those blessed seagulls will hit! \nFinally as for the key to the shed to access the washing machine. It has a numerical padlock on the door with the same code as the key safe used to get into the house. There is no key. This is explained in the welcome pack. We welcome any guest to call any time if there is a problem. Thank you very much for rating us 4* You clearly enjoyed your staying in Anglesey and our family home 'Brookfield'. Again thank you for the suggestions. \nKind Regards Gilly Llewelyn\n\n
