“Chapel House is in a great location with views of the very close beach and bay ( 2 minute walk ) from the kitchen’s Juliet balcony upstairs - it being an upside-down house.”

The property is thoughtfully decorated throughout and very comfortable, you can see a lot of effort has been put into making it a nice holiday home. It has good facilities and provided plenty of space for our group of 7 aged from 19 to late 70s, who also enjoyed the hot tub out on the decking. The beds were very comfortable. One thing to keep in mind, if you have anyone unsteady on their feet with you, is that between some of the downstairs bedrooms and the hallway/ensuites there are small steps, there are warnings for these but they can catch you out. There was an issue with one of the ensuite showers for the beginning of our stay but this was sorted quickly by the owner who kept us updated. Some of the windows and doors were quite stiff but some WD40 on the hinges, from under the sink, helped us to close/open them! Overall, everyone had a great holiday and Rhosneigr is a great base for a holiday on Anglesey.

The property

Chapel House is a brilliant, contemporary holiday house in the popular seaside town of Rhosneigr on Anglesey.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor which means there’s room for a wonderful open plan living space that spans the entire first floor.

Don’t worry though, there are clever little nooks that have a cosy feel, too! On the ground floor are two ensuite bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, the other is a king size.

Both ensuites are shower rooms with dual head shower, hand basin, loo and heated towel radiator.

There is also a twin room with a zip and link mattress so can also be set up as a double by prior request.

Lastly, there’s a bunk room with a small double on the bottom and a single bunk above.

A family bathroom has a bath and dual head shower over, a hand basin, toilet and heated towel radiator. Heading upstairs to the first floor, there’s a gorgeous large kitchen which also has a sea view!

In here is a Nespresso coffee machine, large oven, Belfast sink and toaster.

It really is beautifully finished and the patio doors in this room lead out onto the stunning balcony. To one side of this is a large dining table with quirky mismatched chairs which we love!

You can fit eight people around the table, ideal for family suppers. There are bi-folding glass doors which lead through into the sitting room - this means you have the option to keep the space open and sociable, or you can close the doors to give the sitting room as sense of cosiness whilst the woodburner is lit. There are two seating areas separated by a double-sided woodburner, which means no one misses out on the warmth from the fire when it’s lit.

It also means there are separate zones if the adults want a separate space from the children! Also on this first floor is a separate loo with hand basin.

There is a separate utility area at the front of Chapel House with an outside shower that’s ideal for rinsing sandy toes from the beach.

There is also a washing machine and hanging space for soggy wetsuits.

Outside the front of the holiday house is a small paved terrace area.

There is also a decked balcony on the first floor that has garden furniture and a hot tub.

Ideal for relaxing summer afternoons without having to venture outside. Chapel House is an utterly stunning holiday house where you’ll feel instantly at home with the benefit of a sense of luxury.

Rhosneigr makes for a fab family seaside holiday destination.

There are sandy beaches, watersports, walks, cycle routes, shops and fab places to eat and drink on your doorstep.

There is so much to see and do in this part of Anglesey that you’ll have to come back again to fit it all in! The beds will be made made up as advertised, if you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
