“What is not to love about this place, great house with plenty of character, huge windows with wonderful views and to sit in the back garden for meals overlooking the beach and the sea, heaven.”
Rhosneigr though only small has everything you could need, we had an amazing holiday, living the dream

“Great place to stay , the location is excellent, wonderful sunsets.”
Very lucky with the weather!
“Excellent, superb position, clean and well equipped for a large group.”
BUT poor as there was a problem with the hot water in the evenings for toddler's bath, others showering and washing up. This was eventually put right, probably on Wednesday of a Saturday booking. But there was no heating in the evenings - just when we were all back together needing the heating. We were adequately dressed. It wasn't until about Friday that this was righted. We were told that these things were remotely controlled but later this was denied. Our mobiles would not work in the house. I was out in the dark in the garden one evening and was told to wait for the owner to phone me back. Everyone was beginning to eat our meal, I had no coat on, just popped out to make call, so I expressed this to the "contact" but felt that she was displeased with me. My family were urging me to come and eat as I am a diabetic and our evening meal was the time we were all together. It was difficult. I'd treated my family to the holiday, so felt responsible for the problems. I was also incapacitated for most of the week, so that too meant it was not good for me to stand outside in the cold and dark for perhaps half an hour for a call back.
“We used this great house for a three generation family holiday.”
The property had plenty of room for seven adults and three children. The enclosed front garden was a bonus to know that the children were safe and we could take them straight on the beach with no roads to cross. Lots of little extras in the house made us feel welcome. Lovely bathrooms and kitchen and good beds. We will be hoping to return.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are really happy that you enjoyed your stay at Warrenside, we hope to see you back on Anglesey soon!
“Lovely house in a lovely position.”
Quirky at times but that is Rhosneigr! Very convenient and easy to use house. The addition of the second Fridge Freezer from the year was great. On the negative side there is no draw storage or hanging space in the "Withdrawing Room"(1st floor bay windowed bedroom). A further small point is the bath towels are small - how about some bath sheets?
So pleased you enjoyed your time in Rhosneigr and thank you for your helpful feedback
“We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.”
“Fabulous cottage it was our third visit”
“Brilliant house with a remote location.”
Enjoyed the week and will definately consider re-taking this let. The airport had more going on than we expected but that did not spoil our stay. We experienced the windy west coast which had the effect of moving storms though so quickly they were over soon after they arrived.
“What an amazing house!”
We were two families of four, with four young children, and the house was a dream. Masses of space, brilliantly equipped, lovely beds / linen / towels. The house is so well furnished, and we loved it. The scenery is outstanding and waking up to the mountains and the sea was magical. The fresh cakes on arrival were a lovely touch and Patricia was very helpful throughout our stay. There is nothing to fault with the house in any way, and we would all recommend it, whether for grown ups, or for families. A great location for exploring North Wales, with the comfort that you would return to a warm, cosy house. By far the best rental house we've ever stayed in.
“The cottage had everything we needed, and great views too.”
“Excellent house well equipped and modern features.”
The only downside was the recycle bins were full on arrival and never got emptied throughout our stay. Probably due to the Christmas period.
“We stayed at warrenside 3 years ago and it was excellent, hence the reason we booked it again.”
It had everything you needed for the duration we were staying for, and for the number of people in our party.
“We had a wonderful stay at Warrenside with our extended family (6 adults and 2 under 3 year olds) and would love to come again.”
The location is outstanding right next to the beach and we were very lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the beach often. The property is very close to all the Anglesey has to offer and the planes weren't too loud or obtrusive from the RAF base nearby (but you're close enough to hear and see them). Having a secure garden between the house and the beach meant we were never worried about the toddlers straying too far. We've stayed in many cottages and this was perhaps the best stocked, from lawn games, to pots and pans, to books and DVDs, there wasn't anything more we needed. Only thing I'd say is there's a few bit of furniture that are a little broken or in need of an update but it didn't take away from our experience at all. We all loved it. Thank you!
“The best holiday home ever.”
A location on the beach front....wow! A house with so much space....wow! A house just stuffed with books....wow! And a house with furniture that has grown with the house and a house that has a history and stories to tell. What more could one ask for! What makes this holiday home so perfect is that it felt just like HOME. A real home from home. Also the the Housekeeping service was excellent....there was an issue with no heat working in 2 of the rooms when we arrived but the Housekeeper had it fixed asap even though it meant her husband working on Easter Sunday to fix the problem. We were toastie warm for the rest of the week.
“Superb location, big rooms, on the beach.”
“Fantastic. Owner attentive and caring.”
Felt like a home and was the most equipped house I have ever been in. Brilliant views, close to the beach, very quiet, lots of nature and please don't worry about the airfield nearby. It is a benefit not a hindrance, hardly heard anything but got the chance to see some good sights. Great for all ages I would 100% recommend and trust me I have very high standards. You won't be disappointed!
“Excellent cottage in a fantasic location, this was our 2nd holiday staying here and we will be back.”
“What a find!”
We had a fantastic holiday with 3 generations of our family. From the moment we arrived when we were met by Patricia we felt at home . The farmhouse has everything you could possibly need. We made good use of the garden, playroom and the beach as the weather was so good we didn’t need to venture any further.
“WOW! What a fantastic place to stay.”
The location was peaceful and quiet but not remote as all the attractions we visited eg heritage railways, zip world, Portmerion, were 30-60min drive away. The house was spacious and stylish. The owner has thought of everything you will need and more so cupboards and drawers revealed all those home from home comforts from thermos flasks to individual bathrobes. Beds were comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms had lots of hot water, heated towel rails and large bath towels. The two sitting rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the provided jigsaws, maps and books. The kitchen is fantastically well equipped. We came by train and hired a car so only brought food and nothing was lacking so no need to bring your own kitchen equipment. The airfield is a fair distance away and we did not have any noise issues. In fact, we enjoyed seeing the occasional helicopter landing! As a party of adults and teenagers we loved our stay here and highly recommend this house for families and groups of all ages.
“Large spacious house with plenty of room for ten people to run around even if they are not on the beach.”
It was not well equipped though - I mean, one teacloth for ten people for a week (!), very few bath mats and they always soaking wet. Equally, only one frying pan for ten. The dishwasher hadn't been cleaned out underneath so the first few washes meant unclean plates.
“Warren Farmhouse is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped.”
On our arrival we found a large chocolate cake which was delicious. The owner Patricia phoned us to check if we had any queries and she was very friendly and helpful. The barn/playroom which adjoins the house provided a great den for our grandchildren ( 9 and 6) to play and watch videos while we had some peace and quiet in the house. The adults completed many of the excellent jigsaws - there were no missing pieces! The views from the farmhouse are spectacular and there is a great feeling of light and space. The exceptionally well equipped kitchen which included two dishwashers and kettles were much appreciated for our family of 8. The farmhouse is near an airfield for light ( not noisy) planes and the rescue helicopter. This was very interesting for all the family and we enjoyed visiting the airport and it’s historical museum.
“Extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped.”
Excellent location and amazing views. Close to beaches and the mountains, wonderful art and pottery which enhanced the stay. A really good table tennis table!
“The house is lovely it's very spacious, and the view and location is amazing!”
What a brilliant place to be in New Years Eve! Would love to go back :) The only reason I have knocked 1 star off is that I felt more than 1 towel each could have been provided and spare bedding.
“Lovely old house with large rooms.”
Clean modern bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. Beachside location and garden excellent. Well located for all village amenities .
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are really happy that you enjoyed your stay at Warrenside, we hope to see you back in North Wales soon!
There is no word other than ‘idyllic' to describe the location of this marvellous holiday house, which has the most glorious, breathtaking sea views.
A few steps down from the garden and you are on the beach! "A great beachside location and a solid, happy, comfy holiday house." The owners of Warrenside have carefully retained many of the beautiful original features, while making sure no modern comfort has been overlooked.
The wide stairs are a lovely feature, and the spacious rooms are enhanced with antique furniture and paintings.
In the kitchen, be sure to note how the other half used to live - the servants' bell system has been left in situ! This is the perfect holiday house, located in the popular seaside village of Rhosneigr, on the west coast of Anglesey.
You will find individual, interesting shops and a variety of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance.
There's so much to do in Rhosneigr, you could even leave the car parked up for the week!
