We had a perfect week and would happily return here. One small point - a non-slip mat in the bath would be useful, but apart from that everything was provided. Thank you so much for our welcome goody basket - very thoughtful and much appreciated. We left very happy and well-rested.

“Facilities is a low score as ,although everything very modern, not all easy to use & no instructions!”

! Shower well that deffo needs instructions, our granddaughter who is 8 couldn't turn the knobs so it meant 1 of us having to get soaked as you can't reach them without getting wet & even then was hit & miss whether could get to correct settings!! Heating , although a ,mostly, lovely week early mornings & some evenings were chilly & could have done with control or even a electric heater! Also curtains needed at dining room doors. Beds were firm & very comfortable ,although we didn't have duvet on 13.5 tog!! Far too heavy for us we had brought a sheet thankfully! Lights over dining table could do to be taken up a bit, we only average height but still managed to bang our heads when standing up! Some of locks need looking at they were also a bit hit & miss!

Access to heating controls is needed as on occasion it became chilly.

"Just minutes away from the wonderful beaches of Trearddur Bay and perfectly placed to relax and sample the good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants after a busy day on the water whether sailing, windsurfing or just paddling!" Located on the west coast of Anglesey, Trearddur Bay is well loved by families for their summer holidays by the beach.

During other times of the year it is popular for excellent birdwatching, golfing, fishing and endless walking along the fabulous coastal path.

This is a great holiday house to explore this lovely corner of North Wales.

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
