    “Perfect location, remote enough without being isolated.”

    The view across the Menai Straight to Llandudno was breath-taking and forever changing with the weather. The owners, who although lived next door were not intrusive but readily available if needed. Nothing was too much trouble. This was really a holiday for my 2 dogs to get away from the fireworks and was perfect for them, especially with the beach at the end of the garden. However, it was a home from home for me and my Partner and we will definitely return.

The property

This one bedroom annexe has an abundance of space inside and out.

We love the various original mosaic floors.

With access to fantastic gardens and stunning views of the Menai Strait and the Snowdonia National Park, this is a perfect holiday retreat. "Beautiful gardens, fantastic sea views and a beach right on your doorstep...what more could you ask for?" Located outside of the village of Penmon, on the eastern tip of Anglesey, Menai Gardens is just set back from the coast.

This is a perfect spot for a bit of peace, quiet and relaxation.

You are just a few meters from a small beach and have access straight on to the Anglesey Coastal Path.

All of this, whilst only being a short drive from the historic town of Beaumaris with its impressive castle and various shops, bars and restaurants to potter around.


One bedroom: 1 x king. Bathroom with bath and separate double headed shower, WC and handwash basin. Kitchen with oven, electric hob, microwave, toaster, washing machine, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, breakfast bar area. Antique sofas and a double sofa bed that can be made up as a bed on prior request, woodburning stove, TV/DVD, Radio/CD with Bluetooth connection, dining area that takes full advantage of the views. Conservatory with seating for two. Shared access to main garden, lawn for games and picnics, pretty formal garden, variety of seating areas.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the south-eastern corner of the Isle of Anglesey, Penmon looks out across the Menai Strait towards the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia. Close by is Puffin Island, where puffins do indeed nest. They, as well as seals and porpoises and many other water fowl can be viewed from a boat trip starting from Beaumaris. Heritage lovers will enjoy discovering the historic Penmon Priory, a 13th Century Augustinian House complete with its original holy well and curious dovecote. At Black Point, near the lighthouse, the Pilot House Cafe serves coffe, teas, lunches and ice creams. Nearby White Beach is a large pebble cove and the coastal path winds via a nature reserve and scenic cliff path all the way to the open sands of Red Wharf Bay. The village of Llangoed has a shop with Post Office counter. Picturesque Beaumaris has a 13th Century moated castle, a pier, small independent shops, a gallery, exhibitions and a wide choice of bars, cafes and restaurants.
