Dryll-Y-Gro - formerly known as Trefadog Beach House - means 'crash of the waves on pebbles'.
The name perfectly captures the setting of this truly fantastic holiday house on the north west coast of Anglesey. When you conjure up images of the perfect family holiday, this is the house you would be in!Sea views, a big garden, a quiet, sandy beach just 30 yards from the door, and a very strong nautical theme throughout the house to remind you of your fantastic beach side location.
The impressive beamed sitting room has comfortable sofas set around a large wood burner which will make winter breaks warmer.
There’s the benefit of a 50" LCD TV, too.
French doors open onto the garden.
There is another sitting room at the far end of the house which has wonderful sea views through the big windows. The comfortable sofas in this room invite you to relax and soak up the views.
The kitchen is definitely the heart of this holiday house. There is a range cooker, a dishwasher and a large American fridge/freezer, and a dining table ideal to gather together round for meals, and there are views of Trefadog Bay and the Anglesey countryside.
Next door to the kitchen there is a handy utility/shower room which perfect for washing sandy feet!
Downstairs are two double bedrooms and a bunk room. Two of the bedrooms have TVs.Upstairs are two bedrooms: a double room with sea views and a twin with countryside views. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, shower and loo.
A handy downstairs bathroom is located just off the bedrooms.
The large lawned garden has a paved patio area and seating, and it's own gate leading straight on to the beach!
"Sea views & a large garden with a sandy beach 30 yards from the door.
A fun house with a nautical theme throughout."
As soon as you come through the door you will want to explore!
I just love the detail of Trefadog Beach House - the coat stand that used to be a torpedo, all the maps and nautical pictures, the old World War II radio in the second sitting room, and the porthole doors. But don't let the old memorabilia deceive you - this house is very much in the 21st century!
With a large 50" LCD TV and broadband, thermostatically controlled rooms and an extremely well-equipped kitchen, you will want for nothing.
Church Bay itself is a quiet little village with a choice of some lovely small beaches to visit nearby.
