The property

Castellolwg is a spacious detached cottage set in the scenic town of Llangollen, Denbighshire, offering an excellent base for large families or groups seeking a memorable break in North Wales.

The adjoining dining area seats up to 12 guests, creating a wonderful space for shared meals, while a snug with Smart TV, DVD and PlayStation 3 keeps entertainment close at hand.

A separate sitting room offers a calm spot to unwind, complete with comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere, and there’s even an externally accessed conservatory for enjoying the garden views.

Ruthin 15 miles; Chester 25 miles.

The beautiful Vale of Llangollen, with its dramatic mountain backdrop and boulder-strewn River Dee is the setting for this pretty tourist town, internationally famous for its Musical Eisteddfod. Explore the green valley by steam train or canal boat, or take an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town, in order to enjoy the breathtaking view. Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops. Keep entertained with an exhilarating trip whitewater rafting down the River Dee, followed by an adventurous Mountain Bike ride in Llandegla, or for a more leisurely experience, unwind with a relaxing afternoon in one of the local spas! The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are within easy driving distance, while a day-long car trail can take you to visit six of the ‘Seven Wonders of Wales’.
