Vyrnwy Lakeside - Bala Lake

Stunning place to stay.

A comfortable apartment with everything you could need. In addition to what was advertised, we even found milk, a bottle of water, tea, coffee, and biscuits. There was lovely attention to detail throughout—from cosy blankets and toiletries to kitchen essentials like washing-up liquid, a sponge, and a tea towel. Hosts Beatrice and Dennis were friendly, welcoming, and informative. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Accommodation excellent and the views over the lake beautiful. There is a lovely summerhouse in the grounds where you can sit and relax watching nature . Beatrice is a superb host and we will definitely be looking to visit again. It is one of the most relaxing holidays we have been on.

Beatrice is so helpful and welcoming.

The apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The view is gorgeous and we so love the great variety of birds and wildlife, birdsong and woodland noises. It's so dark at night, we didn't have a clear night but sure the sky would have been beautiful. Second stay and sure to stay again. Oo and would recommend the Bala train to Llanuwchllyn where the village pub was great too. Lovely homecooked simple food and welcoming atmosphere x

We had a lovely relaxing stay Vyrnwy Lakeside, our apartment was small and cozy with all that we needed.

The shower was one of the best showers I've had, nice and powerful. The view on the decking/balcony are just gorgeous. Perfect for a chilled relaxing getaway. Beatrice was a wonderful lady giving us lots of information and her number incase we needed anything. Thank you and would definitely recommend.

We loved our week at Vyrnwy Lakeside which was spotless inside and outside and had everything we needed.

Bala Lake is beautiful, the location & views were fantastic as we were right on the lake. The shops, Restaurants, Pubs and cafe's were only 5 minutes away and offer great variety.

Staying in the Vyrnwy apartment, we had spectacular views over Bala Lake.

During the night, the area was very dark and therefore the stargazing was impressive. The apartments have a short walk to Bala town where there are restaurants, pubs and shops. The apartment contained a large bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, all of which were very clean. Further to this, the balcony had two comfortable seats and a table which were perfect for relaxing and looking over the lake. We had views of the train which passes close to the apartment (only passes a few times a day and won’t honk unless you wave so therefore was not a disturbance). You can swim in Bala Lake as well as kayak, meaning that there are plenty of activities to get on with during your stay. The apartments are also not too far away from destinations such as Portmerion (45/50mins drive). The owner Beatrice gave us a lovely welcome and was also very helpful with any queries we had. On arrival we were supplied with milk in the fridge, as well as tea, coffee and sugar. This was by far one of the best apartments we have stayed in and would highly recommend.

The owner Beatrice gave us a friendly welcome and we were grateful for a small bottle of milk in the fridge, to make a cup of tea after a long journey. The bed was very comfortable

Very nice place to visit, amazing view of the lake and it's surroundings, the room is really nice and comfy, very calming to have a coffee on the balcony with fresh air and lake view.

Lovely property, very quiet and in a fabulous position right on the lakeside.

Especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning sun with a coffee and listening to the birds. Warm welcome from the owners, I would visit again.

This is a fantastic place to stay.

The apartment is very comfortable and is fully equipped. The large balcony affords a fantastic view over the lake and there are lovely lakeside walks from the apartment as well. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and were available for any advice on the area.

A great base for a break in the Snowdonia area.

I would strongly recommend this beautiful property, it was so tranquil and peaceful at the side of the lake.

Wonderful views and so lovely to wake up to the sound of birds singing. The property was very clean and well equipped and the hosts Beatrice, Dennis & Hani the dog were very welcoming. We had a lovely visit thank you so much.

The most peaceful place to unwind I have been too.

If you want to be alone,you are.the Hosts are about but not in your face,and they are both lovely people to chat with.You feel it is your home while you are there.Will be going again if we can get in that is.

We had a lovely stay.

Views were amazing from the balcony and it was a great, quiet location. The summer house was a nice bonus. Only minor issue we found was that there was no hob to cook on but you do get an oven/microwave/grill combination. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location with amazing view and wildlife.

We, personally, could have done with a longer, wider, firmer bed, but that's just a personal choice. We would love to stay again.

It was nice to be greeted by Beatrice who was very approachable and knowledgeable about the area. Situation of the accommodation was perfect - tranquil with superb scenery. We came away feeling rested and satisfied that we'd enjoyed our break.

This apartment made our break special the surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful overlooking the lake and set in woodland could not wish for better.

Perfect setting for a quiet getaway.

Beautiful view over the lake. Facilities are ample for cooking simple meals. The balcony doesn't get the evening sun, but there is a communal balcony where you can sit and catch the last rays of the day with a glass of wine - or two.

It was an amazing place the hosts were caring and friendly could not fault the hosts, the accomodation, the place and views would definitely recommend and come back thank you for a great stay Irene & Chris xx

Lovely stay in a beautiful apartment, secluded and quiet just what we needed, apartment was lovely and clean had all the amenities required, balcony was lovely to sit and watch the lake, really enjoyed our time here, Beatrice was lovely and very professional, helped us out with some local information, would recommend to friends and family.

The apartment itself is very nice, clean, and well-furnished. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, from an equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and cozy furniture. The balcony is a great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The host is exceptional, very good and always available to help out whenever needed. They are kind, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a great experience. also, there are plenty of nice places to visit in the area. we can't wait to revisit.

Property was even better than the website photos showed. Lovely apartment ,clean, modern and spacious room. Owners were very friendly, happy hosts, and so welcoming. We would book again for sure ,if we revisited Wales ,and would 100 % recommend to anyone ,you will not be disappointed.
