    “Beatrice is so helpful and welcoming.”

    The apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The view is gorgeous and we so love the great variety of birds and wildlife, birdsong and woodland noises. It's so dark at night, we didn't have a clear night but sure the sky would have been beautiful. Second stay and sure to stay again. Oo and would recommend the Bala train to Llanuwchllyn where the village pub was great too. Lovely homecooked simple food and welcoming atmosphere x

The bustling market town of Bala lies within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, Bala’s famous lake, which is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniad, a relic of the Ice Age. Renowned as a centre for great watersports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and whitewater rafting, Bala is also the headquarters of the narrow gauge Bala Lake Railway. The town itself is steeped in history and has a range of interesting shops, inns and restaurants, and an historical Town Walk.
