Location ideal. Nice 10minute walk in to Barmouth town which had some lovely shops restaurants and the fab beach. Great scenic walks from Barmouth too. Knives need a sharpen! But otherwise kitchen had a good supply of things we needed. The games room was a nice surprise and kept the children entertained. The two high old beds upstairs are phenomenally uncomfortable. Would be helpful in the listing to describe those two beds as unsuitable for young children in our view as they are so high off the floor and with a metal lip round the edge, we worried our toddlers would hurt themselves badly if they climbed out or rolled out in the night. Otherwise fab and the family already wanting to come back again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay, and we would agree that the views are pretty special. The beds in the upstairs rooms are high as we have tried to keep the character of the house with the edwardian features. The pink sofa in the main bedroom with the ensuite is actually a sofa bed, which we would recommend for small children. If you ask beforehand the bed can be made up with bedding ready for your stay. “Wonderful stay!”

We Absolutely loved our time at Cynfal. The most stunning views of the valley and the beach, the rooms where all very clean and well presented. Kitchen has all appliances required. The hot-tub is brilliant and of a high standard. We didn’t use the bbq but it looked quite large. I think a picture of this on the listing would be great. My only constructive Feedback is that there is no outdoor lighting at all ( that I could find) which was a shame as we would have loved to of stayed outside in the evening around the fire. But it’s very dark otherwise, but some fairy lights would look lovely! Other than that we loved it and will definitely be back! As for food we visited the Last Inn just a 10 min walk from the property which serves very nice food!
